Hi yenyu, I didn't cover back as i was thinking if i cover it then air intake will be restricted. So far no water got in even in rainning days and also i prefer the sound without the cover... heee.

Hi, yenyu got his knn from some help by drifting_mp3 through a mo. I tried to visit the mo section and enquire about the knn filter for fz16 but they say don't have. After getting some instruction from drifting_mp3 on how to modify knn to our bike, i went around looking for the best deal and finally got it from ah boy but is a different model. Modification is similar but the rubber pipe extension is different from them. Picture can be found in pervious posted by me.

Good. I tried a full tank with KNN and it reaches 38.5km/l. Well guess it does help in fc... heee.

hehe, i followed drifting_mp3's instruction de leh. But my KNN filter is of a different model so a rubber stopper wouldn't be long enough to extend to it, so i used a different pipe after consulting my dad.

Airbox need to use a bit of strenght but safety first. Yes left side cover must be out. Follow the step by step instruction send by drifting_mp3, it really helps. As you can see, my filter is different and tube is also different.

Removing the air box. Should have done my house keeping and used the correct tools and not lay the tools on top of the air box where my left palm have accidentally slip while applying force.

Sian, last night while doing installation of my KNN air filter (that i bought from ah boy at 45 dollars) an accident happen. I cut my left palm and 2 stitches were given on the cut. Haiz, should have used the right tools for the right job (Some more i work as an engineer, shameful lor). Guys, just be careful when doing your own diy but today i'm still going to continue my project KNN... hee.

The mo don't have knn filter for our bike. Anyway, what model of knn did you bought that time? So I can ask him got similar model ma.
