Just withness a traffic accident this morning. 22nd Jan 2010, time 0645am to 0650am, location: PIE towards Jurong near Paya Lebar flyover. weather condition dark. A black modified saloon car suddenly swing out ( is a L shape swing out, which mean out of sudden you saw a car infront of you instead of just the front side of car) without signaling from first lane to second lane as the driver himself try to avoid hiting the white car infront of him (i guess this car is follow very close and fast to front car), one biker on second lane cant response in time and hit directly behind this black car, bike turn 90 degree and rider fly to the front of the black car. I was just behind this bike (3 bikes distance) , saw the car swing out though still have gape for move ahead, but later saw the bike infront hit directly to the black car and rider flying, lucky brake in time, else also lying in hospital. while drive pass the accident scene slowly, heard the black car "ah meng" driver argue with the white car male driver (both age 30+) by blaming him why suddenly stop without care about the rider. Sawing the rider lying on the road painfully but still awake, was care of by another biker. Do not know what happen after this but infront of this accident scene think also some minor accident as few cars move to side lane slowly, the stretch of road after it is fully clear without much cars infornt. All this happen in a seconds......... Sorry for not helping the biker, hope he is fine. Be alert all riders!

HI , Agree with you, can't depend too much on Police. I've my bike handle balancer stolen when just bought the bike. Report to Police and the security at the shopping mall ( where the place I park my bike there and get stolen), know what the police say when I want to make the report? Police officer said:" This thing how much? less than S$100? ,don't waste time make report, we can't help to find it back". My point of making report is just to let them know there is thief at the area, and they just came out this stupid answer. Same as you that even my tyre bipple cap also get stolen, thieve are always there, u don't know when your bike or accessories will get lost, just try all your best to secure it , dont think police can help.
