  1. Sorry, a bit late with a reply to your post but... The “A” is ABS, the “D” does not have ABS, the GT is the newer body style with twin headlights.
  2. Check the main ground connection (battery to frame) as well as the ground connection from the Combination Meter wire harness to frame. Tim
  3. I've been testing various combinations of Dr Pulley sliding weights (SR). I've finally got a couple of good combinations which give very good/excellent mid-range performance without sacrificing top speed, however, after cruising a few minutes in the 5000 - 6000 rpm range the "V" light comes ON. (Because the rpms are higher and in the power band much sooner, the ECM and/or Combination Meter circuits "see" the increased rpm at speed as the belt slipping) So my question is: does anyone know how to hack the Combination Meter circuit or the ECM to make the "V" light circuit less sensitive to the increased rpm vs speed? Thanks for your reply Tim
  4. Thank you for your reply. After a bit of research I have been able to locate two different versions of solid state relays which can be used for this modification. Now it's just "simple" a matter of removing the front body to have at the Combination Meter wire harness plugs. Thanks again for your wisdom Tim
  5. This is great and helpful information. I have three questions: 1) Will changing to an electronic / solid state flasher relay work if only the rear turn signal bulbs are changed to LEDs while the front bulbs remain standard? 2)Will adding this electronic flasher relay still allow the turn signal indicators on the dashboard to operate? 3) Which manufacturer makes this solid state relay and what is the stock number for the relay. Thank you for your response. Tim
  6. Daniel, I have a full size direct photocopy of a MPH speedometer panel for you. Quite a while back I responded to your post on the Silverwing600 forum but have never received a reply to that post. PM me at yahoo[/mention].com"]Cosmic_Jumper@yahoo.com with your mail postal address and I'll send you that photo copy. Of course you'll have to disassemble your meter panel to apply the photocopy over the original meter face, but it's going to be a whole lot less expensive than replacing the entire meter panel just to satisfy some pin-headed bureaucrat. Tim
  7. Hello Scoobydoo

I'm writing about your Silverwing Hazard Lights modification as shown in msg #126. The wiring diagram in that msg is different than that of my (USA Version) 2003 FSC600 Silverwing. Does your modification apply to the 400cc Silverwing and/or other Asian market versions of the Silverwing?

Your wiring diagrams show one Turn Signal Relay, and in one circuit option indicates 2 Turn Signal Relays. So I wonder if your Silverwing wiring circuits have a separate Turn signal However the Turn Signal Relay on my FSC600 is an integral part of the meters & gauge circuit board.

Has someone successfully done the Hazard Lights modification, or is this circuit just a concept which has yet to be carried out?

Thank you very much for all your informative posts and for your reply to my inquiry.

    Tim
