  1. Yeah, felt a bit unstable at first but after a bit of warmup then okay le. For plank I look far ahead at the cones for the slalom, but then usually fall off halfway. Only made it through once. Should I go a bit faster? because i wobble quite a bit on the plank.
  2. Any tips on passing prac 4? After today I think I did quite badly, lol. Couldn't get stay on the plank, knocked over a cone at slalom and stalled my engine once at ebrake area. I don't know if it's to do with me not having taken a lesson since like... september, but urgh today was horrible.
  3. I love videos like that, keep em coming!
  4. Been ages since I've been here and on a bike. A few months have passed since my last lesson due to work and financial commitments, but now I'm gonna start lessons again! Am at lesson 4, but I'm kinda scared because I haven't touch bike for so long, confirm going to be bad. Any tips to make it easier? Hopefully once I get back on the bike everything will come back again..
  5. It may be discouraging, yes, but in the end it's better to make these kinds of mistakes in the circuit where things are more... 'controlled' rather than on public roads. Just take it slowly and practice more. IMO the more you do (bearing your mistakes in mind and trying not to make them again) the better you get, so good luck!
  6. you get better with practice, I couldn't even get braking right, let alone shifting gears. I remember my very first lesson I spent a significant amount of time doing that bang tyres bit, only my 2nd lesson then moved on to changing gears
  7. Wear a liner or something, at least it won't be so bad if you use the schools helmet. I don't know if they charge you for renting now though, CDC charges for rental of padding at $5 a pop, so it can add up if you end up taking lessons repeatedly.
  8. You need a valid RTT pass. In case you take more than a year from your RTT pass date to take TP... Which may be my case, heh.
  9. It's all down to practice. I retook L1 three times, passing on my third try. Each time after the lesson I did a self review, noting where I was weak, and noting the feedback from instructors if any (at L3 now, keep getting feedback that I wobble too much, ). Since you know what your mistakes are, try to correct them.
  10. Hey, thanks. The rules change so many times, a bit confusing. Can I check my RTT pass date online or do I have to consult with the CSO? I don't have the result slip as their printer was down that day (come to think of it, the printer was also down during BTT and FTT when I enrolled for a Class 3 license) Did prac 3 just now, and I'm horrible at fig 8, ugh. Kind of scared to go faster, lol. Oh well, going back for prac 3 again sunday morning.
  11. Don't have the slip, the printer was down when I took the test. I already have a PDL, but does taking TP require that I have a valid pass for the tests in addition to the PDL? I already have BTT passed from years ago (from what I understand BTT is no expiry?), if it helps with the answer
  12. Passed my prac 2 last week, and going for prac 3 on friday. Kinda nervous about it, prepared to fail already lol. Anyway, what is the validity of the RTT result? Passed my RTT at the start of the year, and at the rate I'm going I'm probably not going to pass my TP before the RTT expires if it's one year only.
  13. Okay, I emailed CDC before I saw the updated post. Apparently I took the CTP already. Must be my ghost since I cannot remember taking it >.
  14. Okay, thanks. Because the instructor teaching theory lessons said we could book the circuit training program even before we sat for RTT :|
  15. Just passed my RTT today I went online to try to book my CTP, but I wasn't able to select it. Has regulations changed (again)? I thought one was able to book CTP even without passing RTT. Do I now need a PDL to go for the CTP?
