I think you need to elaborate more on the 'bee' sound. exactly when does it happen? What patt87 is describing is the sound of the fuel priming...which I'm not too sure is what you are referring to.... Is it a mechanical sound? Electronic sound? Happens right after you turn the ignition? During cranking or after cranking and engine is idling?

Hi folks, any of you seeking to have factory black rocker top box covers, gearcase covers and primary cover? Looking to swap with POLISHED covers in reasonably good condition. to swap with an 09 883r so 04 onwards sportsters should do the trick. You pay your own labour I pay my own. To be done at dealer. An opportunity to save some money (If you intend to buy) and effort (if you intend to paint). The engine covers are stock from the 883r so quality of the paint is factory assured. Let me know. Primary. It's either the gaskets or the plug not tightened properly. small issue. primary oil abit low also nevermind one. just top up (not too much though) until it gets fixed.

hey no probs. if ur visiting the dealer they can offer you loans, if you are getting a brand new one. used bikes are pretty rare at the dealer though. if you are buying used off the open market then ya gotta source for your own loan. insurance is quite ok lah...as you and the bike age, the cheaper it's gonna be hehe

yes you can get one in Singapore. Interest rates for used bikes are 5% thereabouts. Could get lower if you really shop around I bet. Interest rates for new bikes are 3.5% thereabout...

depends on why you would wanna buy a bike actually. some people buy the twin cams/evos because they like the old/classic/vintage/watever look...i belong to this category. I would have to admit that comfort wise, there are many bikes out there which may feel better and ride better...but almost nothing else beats the look. and lets take a look at the families of bikes; 1)Sportsters 2)Dynas 3)Softails 5)Touring 6)Rods The Revolution class has one family...while the twin cam/evo class have 5 other families...so i think it's just natural to see more twin cam/evo Harleys on the road as compared to the rods. If I could have my way...i would want one from each family hehe.

Modification regulation strangulation. I like that haha. Well nothings gonna change. On one hand keep saying that bike owners should be responsible n ****. On the other hand catch n fine people on screamin eagles...which r really soft in terms of volume. All we get is a better tone of the sound. Still 80db as stamped on the pipes. So being on screamin eagles is being responsible. But u still get fined. So is it about noise or certification? What's the reason for this sudden surge of mindless enforcement that affects so many of us?

Yup. Harley stopped the dealers from selling their stuff on eBay. St Paul Harley is fighting this in court so let's see what happens.
