sub-rider take over

hi bros ..

wud like to know for example if i were to sell my bike to another person to COI.. and insurance have to put the buyer as sub rider.. coz installments havent clear cant transfer ownership

 

1. do i have to buy the insurance from the bike shop i m having installements with?

and

2. wad should i do in order not to hold responsibilties to offences and fines awarded to the sub-rider ?

Its better not to add buyer as sub-rider cos if anything happen there is nothing u can do abt it unless u report bike lost ?

No u can't cos it does not prove anything n LTA will definitely not recognize tt as a prove tt u r not responsible.

i last time use to see there is thread tt seller add sub rider than in the end it happen tt he got all the fine tt post to the seller house plus without paying the remain installment to bike shop n all this SHI* fall to the seller

Ask a lawyer to draft a letter for you.. If u do the black and white urself not much effect.. Insurance wise actually u can buy from other insurance company.. But u muz inform them u r still having installment with shop.. See if they willing to let u purchase ur insurance anot..

All insurance issues/transaction (including renewal, extension, additional/change rider and cacellation) are to be done at our company or collection center. Otherwise termination of account will be enforce.
