i havent bought a new bike yet... now riding a 12 year old phantom!

New bike no worry of breakdown. No need inspection for few years. Can ride until 10 years.

Try out new model of bike.

I have rode bike for more than 20yrs. Nvr owned a new bike before. 2nd hand bike usually comes with good accessories. Just hv to be lucky and get from a good owner.

Used price owners asking for ridiculous price now, not much diff from new bike price, esp those 'almost new' bikes. Sometimes even same price as new bike, since the dealerships are slashing prices now.

 

Also new bike if retain number plate only pay $100, if buy used bike have to pay $1300 hehehe

sometimes new model not available used in the colour you want. i bought my msx125 new because it was a relatively new model back then

yeah... n not just new. some less popular bikes are so difficult to get on resale.... especially in the right color.

This is what I have been highlighting. I will continue to do my part n look out for those sellers trying to chop carrot.

 

Recently came across a seller trying to sell a 1150 gs I think. Abs spoil, but dun wanna admit.he say it's been de linked due to sensor not reliable. When you are asking so much for an old bike , safety cannot be compromised

Of course get new bike since old bike selling at the same price. New bike coe high price want to scrap also get back more money n all new parts so not easy to spoil. Old bike high price but coe very low so when scrap u get very less back. Old bike easy spoil unless lucky enough to get a good condition one. So those who buy 2nd hand bike at high price think properly before getting a use bike.
