Best gloves for Singapore

Hi guys

 

I am keen to get some recommendations for good gloves for Singapore weather - I current have a pair of short Dainese Piston gloves. They're good but it's time to replace them and those don't exist anymore.

 

I'm looking for a gauntlet type of leather glove with great protection but at the same time I want gloves that breath well (my current gloves are so hot). The Revzilla website is great but reviews are not always relevant for Singapore weather.

 

What gloves do you guys have and recommend?

I'm using Taichi RST 400.. So far even riding under hot sun... don't feel hot ley... think for me only body I can't take the heat. the hand pretty ok... ; )

I'm hesitating between Alpinestar GP Tech and Dainese Druids ST - anyone has experience with those? Which model has the most airflow?

I'd go for the Dainese. They'd suit for the Singapore weather compared to GP Tech. But there are other brands out there that have competitive pricing compared to Dainese. Such as Komine/RS Taichi carried by Motoworld.

Using Taichi as well. Recommended by Motorworld when I was looking for something cooling. Another Cool thing - can use phone without removing gloves... Except when you need to unlock phone with fingerprint

I presume your gloves mentioned are not water proof? Just curious?

 

Personally I'm using Mechanics.. Not sure of spelling...

Have been using Komine gloves ever since i started riding 3 years back. Check out motoworld, it's cheap for the protection it offers.

The best gloves is a comfortable gloves with adequate protection. Cosmetic is not important
