Hi Guys,

Booked a room next sat at First world hotel, still planning to ride up with my kup, Yamaha Spark LC135..

Feasible?

I will not be going fast anyway will be doing sight seeing along the way lol..

The only part I am afraid is the way from KL to genting, I heard the slope is quite steep, is it okay for a kup to go up?

What about petrol? Are there petrol station at the foot and peak?

Bros, I will like to hear your opinion thanks!

Regards,

Hao25

hey bro,

on a kup is manageable no worries. For the steep slope not to worry too as long as ur patient enough with the slow speed up hill, it wont be a prob. Saw many of the workers in genting riding their kup up the hill many times. Stick to the left lane close to the road shoulder and watch out for other cars especially those tour bus as they tend to over drive out of their lanes during the sharp bend or turn. For petrol, there's one at the foot and one at the top in Genting. Just remember to get enough rest the day before, plan your route properly and service your bike for the ride. Enjoy the ride and ride safe man..

I took 3-4 hours to ride to Malacca at 95km/h - genting is double the distance so expect 6-8 hours?

You will get fatigue along the way, so better plan your route wisely. Have to take a break every 45min-1h cos hand numb.

Hi Bro!

You should really go for the trip. Countless local workers do the trip everyday.

Just take your time, enjoy the ride. Leave early so you dont rush yourself and you will be fine.

Like wait4me said, pump at every kiosk you see. Give yourself sometime to rest and not risk an empty tank.

Have fun and above all, be safe! ;)
