grey primer where to get?

grey primer or any primer are rare in DIY stall around my neighbourhood. i even call and asked the distributors of kangaroo paint and even they say its uncommon and need to order...

 

any season DIY bro know where to get??

The only grey primer i ever came across was those tamiya brand for model kits.

Other then tamiya, most hardware shops i get from are brown primer.

ask the boss who has the biggest fleet of grey ship

kangaroo paint can try mustafa... but i dunno whether they have the grey primer there but they have alot of spray paint there...

 

for grey primer, u can try RJ... the have grey primer...

there is a D.I.Y store along at dunlop street or mayo st... forgotten which one liao.. it,s along jln besar rd... when u turn into the minor road from jln besar u can see the shop at the corner... the sell RJ paint there...

so if i wanna diy stray grey colour, do i need to spray a base colour first and then spray grey and then lacquer

spray the grey primer first... it can be ur base coat as it's grey... get ur grey spray... spray afew coat... den spray lacquer... lacquer imo 1 or 2 layer is enuff... can get at ar 4 - 5 per can... get some sand paper to sand in between each coat...

Why would you want to use grey primer? It is a very tough and strong primer which is meant for marine use (It usually comes in 20 Litre). It is even stronger than the normal "Red" primer we use to paint metal for use on land.

 

If it is to be used for your bike, than there are other appropriate primers for auto mobile.
