Reviews on 2014 V-strom 1000, 2015 Vesys 1000 and Gen III FJR1300

Hi fellow bikers,

 

I planning on getting one of these for 2-up long distance touring. Planning to tour to Thailand (one of our bucket list).

 

I'm more particular on the highway comfort for pillion, the wind protection n buffering and the stability on highway.

 

We been to Malacca on FZ6S Fazer and frankly speaking it's not a pleasant experience touring on that bike, Wind buffering, comfort wise.

 

All of cos, the prices of these bikes, with the insane COE prices, the OTR prices, the V-strom 1000 and 2015 Versys 1000 with top box and panniers is around 34K-35K, while the FJR is around 39K.

 

Most probably will be looking at 2nd hand pre-loved for these bike, so far, the 2013 Gen III FJR is around 28-29K, while 2014 vstrom is around 25K

 

All comments and reviews on these 3 bikes are welcome. But it will be most helpful if you all can share the long distance comfort for pillion, wind protection, the stability on highway, the riding feel and experience of these bikes.
