The drain nut is right underneath the engine itself. The dipstick is on the right side of the engine below the spark plug. Hope this helps

Bro paiseh, waiting for u to organise another DIY session. Still need the ground and hazard lights :lovestruck: :lovestruck: :lovestruck:

Hey guy, me getting my pulsar this friday... cant really wait... I just wondering what parts need to be change for the better? A new bird about bike... so nothing in the head.. haha.....

Senior Pulsar riders,

I have an observation which need clarification.

I notice some liquid dripping from the engine top while putting on Main stand. Other than that no leakage was observed.

Note : Fuel is not pump to tank rim.

Could someone tell me whether is it normal or is there a problem? Some pic below.

Can anyone advise?

Me also Pulsar novice.

Think gotta monitor for a few days. Anyway still doing run-in.

So far so good, only encounter false neutral once when i was parking awhile ago.

1st gear engage is rough, 2nd to 5th smooth and soft(something I gotto get used to). Going into Neutral lagi soft. Easily slip into 1st gear if i step too hard.:cheeky:

bro, also not very sure leh. Cause I always see my mech loosening a nut underneath my engine and all the black gold comes out.

After sourcing pulsar clubs across the globe, it seems that K&N Air Filter RC1080 is suitable for our pulsars. Will try to source out and replace it :)

Decided to keep my pulsar forever :cheer: so I'm gonna pimp it up.

Safety Mods

1. Hazard Lights (waiting for bro paiseh)

2. Red Rim reflective stickers (DIY done)

3. Battlax BT039SS tyres (changed at LAB)

Security Mods

1. 2 Way alarm w/ LCD remote (should be getting 1 from FatBiker bro)

Cosmetic Mods

1. 6000k HID Conversion (already ordered, on the way)

2. White LED Wide T10 Pole lights (bought, just need to find time to DIY)

3. Red LED T10 Speedometer lights (bought, need to DIY)

4. Red 'Angel Eyes' (still sourcing for it)

5. Straight type Handlebar (still sourcing)

Performance Mods

1. DID X-ring Chain (Bro Goofy, SH Motors say they don't have for pulsar)

2. Matching Sprocket set (for higher top speed)

3. Denso Iradium V plugs (will change with air filter)

4. K&N Air Filter RC1080 (still sourcing for it)

5. Steering damper (If I manage to find a straight handle bar)

6. A good Drycell battery (Will change once my alarm is done)

In order to faciliate all the mods, I'll go entering JB once every week on saturday night. Any bros wanna tag along with me is fine. Don't worry I won't get lost

Funny thing about the false Neutral is :

Neutral light "ON', Clutch released, and engine idling.

Put down side stand. All OK.

Then when i wanna put it on main stand, bike jerked forward and engine died.

:giddy: :giddy: :giddy:

Lucky my side stand was down. Heng!

try my method.

1) Wipe off any liquid that has leak out (check for the liquid, is it sticky or oily)

2) Start engine and let it run for about a min or lesser (run longer if its cold start)

3) Observe if there's anymore liquid that leaks out from the same area.

4) If still leaks then confirm its gasket problem!!!

This happens to me when i'm riding phantom. Change gearbox gasket for $20 at kranji industrial park motortiam.

I thought inside the manual got stated.

Look from the bottom left side of the engine block. Mine very easy to see cause the nut is a bit gold in colour, different from other nuts...
