the rear sprocket got come in diff teeth one anot???

my 6rpm is 70-72 is it normal?

yup.. if u want your bike to have higher speed and also less vibration when cruisiing at high speed, go for smaller rear sprocket.. but take note, there'll be a slight lost in the initial pick up....

for me, its not the top speed but the less vibration when i cruise at expressway.

try my method.

1) Wipe off any liquid that has leak out (check for the liquid, is it sticky or oily)

2) Start engine and let it run for about a min or lesser (run longer if its cold start)

3) Observe if there's anymore liquid that leaks out from the same area.

4) If still leaks then confirm its gasket problem!!!

This happens to me when i'm riding phantom. Change gearbox gasket for $20 at kranji industrial park motortiam.

My problem is rectified by Universal service center mechanic!

Went down there and he smear some grey gasket liquid onto the horizontal nuts at the top of the engine and the leaking stopped.

I like their friendly attitude and fast service.:thumb:

jus now i went to Universal and met a newbie service his pulsar.. he told me the new one doesn't have the same mileage as the old one.. izzit true?

from my view i dun think so lah.. its the same engine..

but the mechanic told me he uses car engine oil instead.

jus the word of advice to him, if he's in this thread, not to use car engine oil.

yes its smoother cos the oil is thinner but in a long run, it may destroy your engine..

its best to use 20W50 cos its thick and protect your engine in a long run.

i myself a bit kiasu.. after change my engine oil, i add this oil thingie to make your engine oil much thicker.. its to make your enginer long lasting and protect your engine also lah. they sell it at Carrefour.. brand STP, it comes in small can.

but i always buy in msia lah.. 'biasa' hee

bro, travel for how long den need to change batt?

Thanks for the advice, guys - why buy a 2nd hand if it's just 2k lesser - besides the new version offers a whole new package of hi-tech features quite a number of other bikes don't have..

Furthermore, who knows how did the previous owner treat the bike right.. maybe he run-in damn hard, engine life quite affected

Rainy days try not to order pizza/kfc/macdonalds.

" jus 2k lesser"

well bro if this sentence is not a problem to you than get a brand new one..

different ppl have the different defination for the word 'lesser a bit'.. those with big budget 2k is not a problem.. but those with smaller income guys will find it big.

The new digital console is an advanced version of the latest Pulsar family. Apart from the Digital Odometer, Digital Speedo Meter, Digital Fuel Gauge and two Digital Trip Meters, the console on the 200 cc Pulsar DTS-i has indicators for Air filter condition, Engine temperature, Battery voltage and Oil level, all of which contribute to enhancing rider info for trouble-free riding. Another first is the use of split seats for styling and comfort. The split grab rail perfectly compliments the new rear chiseled looks. It is also the first Indian bike to have electric start as the sole means of engine cranking, dispensing with the kick lever.

No more regrets.

i agree... cos the digital meter readings not very accurate de. sometimes full tank show half tank... the red light will blink if u stop n go.

but left 2 bars of petrol = reserve.

if ur bike dies off n u neva off the lights to restart or restart too fast, speedo no light at all.

but the signals are the best, after u signal to turn, corner le the signal cut off by itself.
