too much the oil will overflow...thats all..

I was wuliao and was reading thru this thread and saw this post and thot i share ..

Depending on what you mean by "too much". if you fill the oil up to the brim of the filler hole, there will be no more air in the crankshaft to breathe or relief; pressure will built up, your gasket at the cylinder and top end will fail and you'll get blown gaskets, and oil bursting through every possible lobangs.

I knew a-little-is-good-therefore-more-is-best kind of guy and had a good laugh when he came back from a ride with oil all over the bike and himself.

Your safest bet is to keep your oil level in the middle bar.

yup thats i meant...i dun think they would fill up to the brim...hehehe....then that would be very dangerous...overfilled my LC before so i thought might share what happened...recomended was only 600ml...but i filled upto 1.5l (i think) didnt have any bottle to gauge so just gauge by myself...didnt fill it to the brim lah... :bounce:

For the Pulsar, the Maxima Maxum 4 Extra is good enough. The Maxum 4 Ultra is more for bigger cc sportsbikes.

We all know that in real life, FC depends on so many factors .....

yea lah... our bajaj factory calculation is 50km/litre..and we get an average of 42-45km/l..

but if the FC for this honda better than Bajaj.. ppl will go for HOnda..

reason be... its honda, spare parts can get anywhere, 'all' bike shop know honda engine so can go service anywhere..and the fc is 'better'..

Watever comparison u make, the bottom line is that these 2 bikes r of different types (kup vs naked bike). So 1st n foremost, u gotta decide wat type of bike u want

Get pulsar la, reason is

1) You're asking this Qs in a pulsar forum

2) This is a very low maintanence bike

3) You can save a HUGE sum of money on petrol

4) If you're upgrading to class 2 bike in the future, you can keep the pulsar as kata, just like me, i got a STX for touring, pulsar for sg riding...
