Thanks cheeko....

Actually more than just 3 bikes lah... I have sent around total of 16 HIDs back already. So I think theer are more HIDs on bikes... it is jus that we do not know the rest of the people :cheeky:

Yep... have to admit that it takes a longer time than buying off the shelf. I am working on shortening the delivery time now

Mr Cheeko.. Fatbiker's HID is how much?? Got include installation?? Did you fix it yourself or go to a shop??

The HID is SGD180. The package consist of :

- 1 x HID bulb

- 1 x ballast

- Necessary cables

- Very simple packaging

- Warranty - 1 year for bulb and ballast under normal usage/handling

Do take note that the length of the cables from the bulb to the ballast is only around 50cm, so if you need an extension to install your ballast under your seat, you will need an optional 1.2m high tension cable (ard SGD10+). The extension cables are sleeved to insulate heat emitted from the engine

If your bike uses a H7, you can get it done at K&T Accessories for SGD220 including installation. Clifford might still have stock for now.

:goodluck:

hallo ppl...ask u all ar... how much is the HID for zx10r? is it good? will it melt the headlight?can DIY one a not?

HID uses 35watt of power. Ur ZX10 H7 halogen uses 55/60watt of power. The heat produced from halogen bulbs is much more hotter den HID bulb.

Eg, after using Halogen bulb for 30secs, u off it, u cant use ur finger to hold it becoz its very very hot.

after using HID for 1min, u can use ur finger to hold it. It feels hot of course, but, not tat hot.

No more regrets.

hehe.. Just got my HID fix up today.. I must really thank peiseh and Limbat for taking the time and trouble to help me man..

I'm really quite at a loss with electrical stuff... thanks for the patience and effort :thumb:

yup, like limbat said, I have 3 options now after installing a swtich.

1- All off, but I can still flash with halogen,

2- halogen on when high beam, but at low beam no HID

3- halogen on when high beam, HID at low beam

I have yet to fully test the lights and HID, but HID is definitely very bright and the halogen is barely just sufficient..

still got to try around awhile more and adjust the angle so as to prevent it from being too glaring.
