Yeap, that would be the best. But U can also buy a cheaper kit set from the market place as well. If need be - I will help to trouble shoot if anything goes wrong.

Nope, car HIDs kit comes as a pair, but Bike HIDs Kit comes as a single set.

HIDs are originally meant for cars. so the high tension cables from the HID bulb to the ballast n ignitor(for H7) or relay(for H4) is too short. unless u are able to find a place to mount the ballast in front of ur bike.

 

However, this is not the case for most bikes. as such, wat we do is to mount the ballast at the rear seat of the bike. therefore the need to extend the high tension cables. bear in mind the cables are not those normal cables.

hi paiseh, there is a question i wana ask u, duno is it something wrong with my eyes or wat, but it seems after running for a few thousand kilometers with my bike, the HIDs shines brighter now compare with tat time i install it.

 

So question is, is it HIDs bulbs need to have run in period as well Hope the experts here can answer my quries

there will be some burn in time...

about 50-100 hours or so of operation to "burn in" they should color shift and whiten up

This is known as matching - between the HID bulb & Ballast. Zoomlite matches their HID bulbs & Ballasts in their lab for a few days b4 shipping them. This will enable the system to stablise by the time the customer install them.

well, i do not know anything about running in but from wat i experience, the brightness of my HID is not as bright when i first installed it. maybe drop like, say 5%

i judge based on the outline of the reflected light in CTE tunnel.. seriosuly not as bright as b4 leh.

Hi Mr limbat, thanks for the info man, at 1st i thought there's something wrong with my cheap HIDs, but now it really gets brighter after few thousand km, but actual hours of switching on i never go record.

dunno why my rims seems a bit uneven now.... might need to go press back

not sure if it's due to the wheel bearings

Wat kind of bulb does yr bike use ? I may offer some of my stock as am now planning to bring in the 5th generation electronic ballast type.
