hi guys, anyone ever encounter your runner "Engine oil Low" light lit up for afew seconds and then disappear and lits up again? does it meant the engine oil level is getting low? I had it on the road just now despite having refilled my oil 4-5days ago at a workshop. first few days ride felt smooth however it started getting rougher and rougher for no apparent reason. Is there a problem and if there is, what are the solutions? thanks!

confirm yours is a VXr/SP or ST?

 

Btw , looking at the situation, seems that it could be your engine casket is gone which results in leaking of eo or eo burning up due to heat....

 

1 simple way of checking - check your dip stick before u start bike in the morning and if it's below required level, quickly top up and send to specialist shop. beside that, look below your engine and also on the floor where u park the bike to see if there is eo on the floor or engine area.....if have then same thing, top up and go spec. shop.

 

think it;s better u quickly seek a specialist help before things get worse...

Mine RST200 also facing the same thing. The oil level is in at healthy level, no oil drip. Everything looks normal except the symptom like you are facing now.

Wah I read all the tech specs you all mention ... I blur liao.

 

I also agree with the start up problem. Initially thought its just small prob which would go away after a while. Then 3 mths liao still the same.

So during my 3000km full service, the mechanics say they tweaked my transmission or something. Easier to start up. Wah really got diff.

 

Easier to start during day time. Harder when early in the morning. But still acceptable.

 

When we buy the bike got the 1000km oil change, 3000km overall check and then the 5000km oil change again. This all free service charge. But if need to change parts of course got charge lah.

 

Sorry but wat did u sae do to ur bike to get the start up issues solved???

Anyone can teach me how to set the Gilera Runnner digital clock! My time went off two weeks ago and i just cant reset the time! I have clock, mode, and set buttons on the panel but only thing ive been able to reset is the distance. AM I THAT DUMB?!

must hold the left button n centre button together for abt 5-6 seconds..den use the right to change the time... if im not mistaken lor..i also forget..long time nvr touch

Okay full tank using spc 95 petrol. i can only go up to 175km, i heard normally they can go up to 200-240km. and whats more my vxr totally (stock bike) what can cause this problem? helppp T.T
