Hi hi...Penunggu...Thanks for that reminder and appreciate the information... I do have to remind everyone that this is a leisure ride and as per the agreement by all participants, the speed regulated for this ride will be between 60km/h (on the Malaysian village roads) & 80-110km/h along the highways but do take the lead from the LEAD BIKE as well as follow closely to the Instructions given by the Marshalls....

The word here is to RESPECT one another, pay close attention to the SAFETY aspects of convoy riding and keep a lookout for the other traffic all throughout the ride....

Another thing that i would appreciate from everyone, is to make a check on your bikes or vehicles within this week to ensure that your bikes or vehicles are good to go for the ride....Should you need any further check-ups or maintenance, please visit your own bike shops or you can always go to ROSLI's shop at UBI, who is has been maintaining most of this forum's bikes...FOR ROSLI'S ADDRESS, SGSTARRIDER OR PENUNGGU, WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO ASSIST, THANKS....

All throughout this week, i'll be posting up reminders and updates for our ride on a daily basis, so do keep up and browse the forum as and when you are able to so that you'll be kept well-informed...Cheers EVERYONE....

this desaru trip is only a short trip, no special preparation needed if you understand your bike well enough. maybe just the tyre repair kit will do.

Since this is a short trip therefore I thought of doing something which I have not done before. I thought of riding with my boxer and singlet. I thought it is cool and some kind of a 'Fear Factor' test for me. Please, please don't laugh at me on that day.

Hi hi...Penunggu...That's great of what you've done to prepare for the ride...Even though this is a short ride, it shows that you are very enthusiastic about it and put effort in making sure that your bike will take you to our destination and back...Cheers to you bro...By the way, I hope you can assist me to post up ROSLI's address and telephone number, if you have them bro....Thanks...

Hi hi..Killswitched...Yes these are some of the necessary parts to bring along but if the participants have gone for a good maintenance check-up, these areas are to be covered and if it has been maintained, for short rides like this one, it is up to each and everyone earnest if they decide to bring along parts that they think necessary...But your kind reminder is greatly appreciated...

Cheers bro...

Hi hi...Dreamwalk...Well said and again, there many kinds of rides and for this ride, it is considered as a short leisure ride, so as mentioned by Dreamwalk, if you need to send your bikes for a check-up, do a simple check-up that's all... Most important is, know your bike definite, discipline during the ride and keep well aware of safety precautions at all times...Cheers to you Dreamwalk...

Hi hi...Killswitched...I seriously do hope that you are joking about this???.... Do remember what was agreed in our Ride Meeting with regards to Safety, and the first thing about it was attire...There has been numerous cases of unforeseen accidents and if you were to ride in the attire that you've mentioned, i hope you can make a double thought about it.... Although this ride is an 'Unofficial Ride' and participants are to be solely responsible for their own well-being, it doesn't pay to be ignorant my good bro... Cheers...

Hi hi...Jazying...RASHES, ya it's one of it, but more like SUNBURNT to me, also, Malaysian roads are very unexpected, you may not know what will be flying your way, debris or pebbles or anything and if it's just singlet and short, well use your imagination lah bro...By the way, are you joining the ride????....

Hi, you get what i meant :)

Everyone should know the capability and condition of your own bike. If you got doubts, please get it rectified. If you still got doubts, please take a rest.

Later 1/2 way something **** up den whole group / riding buddy will be delayed. And it will be costly to have the bike towed back.

Cheers to all again. Clear skies ahead.

Hi hi...To all Participants...Here are some reminder updates with regards to our ride this coming Saturday 26th April...For all 2-Stroke bikes, please add some 2-T with your fuel after you've fueled up at GP Esso this Saturday as it will help to deter your engine from over-heating and stress...This information was brought forward to me by a friend of mine who rides a KR and often go for rides to Malaysia...This information is just an update and you have total rights to not want to do as what is told in the information....Cheers to everyone and keep in touch ya....
