In today's Home front page, 27th March, there's an announcment that in future, insurers under the GIA umbrella will provide a "bao-ka-liao" service when u meet an accident. So can just call them and they will settle everything. Starts in May.

Anyone can verify if this will apply for us bikers? And which insurers are under this scheme?

ALL insurers will have to follow. It is not 'bao-ka-liao' service. Only the reporting of the accidents have to done at Insurance company or their appointed representatives. If you wish to claim from the other party, your insurer can only recommended legal assistance but could not do for you due to conflict of interest.

Cheers
