Lots and lots of ppl i noticed selling off their asses... Any more ass faithful around? Was thinking of letting go of mine too but seems like she's getting attached to me more by the day.

 

Sure she has a few kinks here and there but i can't seem to let her go yet. Maybe its the fun riding, maybe it's the stares i get from other road users, than again maybe it's just the super economical fuel consumption.

 

I'm waiting for the r109 to arrive. Than mayb i'll let my baby go. Than again mayb i'll just keep it for daily commuting and use the r1 as my weekend bike.

hi my name is john, i just got my madass 125 today.i been working on it right out of box.1st thing i did was install the shorty ass pipe,then milled head for a bit more pep,oil cooler and sprokets, 19 front 28 back.put in the battary. checked tire psi added gas started after about 2 sec.sounded awsome,hoped on it drove it down the road.this thing is so light its like ur on air.i hoped on the fwy se what she had.took a bout 3 min but i was coasting along at 98mph never got hot people were looking at me like wtf is that..

Recently sent my madass to MOD! Mechanic promised better response, achievable top of 120km/hr. I parked the cutie at the workshop since last week. Specification as follow:

 

1. Operated straight through exhaust.

2. Big bore to 150cc; Larger piston

3. Trial on 28mm or 36mm carb. (Mec will see which fits in better)

4. Airway ported

5. Rear sprocket @42T

 

Has yet to collect the maddy, was there couple a days ago. After the big bore and exhaust, SOUNDS Awesome! Mini scram......

 

Mec still sourcing for the 42T to fully utilise the power of the new set up engine!!

 

Note: I will share more of is riding experience after i collect it.:cheeky:

With regards to your change of gear ratio suggestion, may i know if you have any way to get the gears for me? My mechanic had done up the porting, upg of carb, sproket n chains, big bore and etc.... I am pretty satisfy the aceleration. My meter shows 85km/hr at my 3rd max throttle. (Meter inaccurate due to upg of 41T sprocket) Probably i can max my madass at 125km/hr now. But i wanna a smoother cruising speed. Any one here could recommend gear ratio?:cheeky:

Eh... gear ratio is personal preference... some like top speed others acceleration.

 

I just use a 40T rear, stock front.

any body wanna share tips about madass ?i went through alot of prob with mine , bought it two months ago,first day the plastic cover and the rubber near to the angine (left side same as the one we putthe 4t)melted and crcked came out,day 2 ,patrol filter its made of plastic too,melted and crcked, no more oil in the tank , all the oil drained off exept the 300ml in reserve,send back to mah,few days got it back,first week ignition coil burned ,...send back 2 mah ,got it back in few days,next day early in the morning realise there are no oil in the engine, cos its allover the flour, send back to mah got it back in few days,they said oil sealds are broken, some how i saw the oil coming from each screw under the engine,one week later accelerater is moving freely ,i open up and saw inside all used very loussy plastic things ,from china , some how its cracked , i belive its all due to the vibration at the handle bar

Hi crazyass, jump in my boat. Had the same issues as you with my ass. Seems like the problems won't stop. Only way I believe is to change the whole d*mn bloody engine. Maybe doing so at jb. My bike shop there quoted me RM1500 full racing engine. All internal parts only will be change so inspection in future still safe.

Hey guys, another wannabe Madass owner here. I am quite keen to get one, but only if I can make it cruise comfortably at 100kmh and get a top speed of 120-130kmh. Also, I would love an acceleration that is similar to a 250cc scooter. Achievable with the OO Racing 160cc kit? Has anyone ridden one with it? I can't find a review of it anywhere, so if you know of someone who has one, please let me know. Alternatively, is there an even bigger engine I can slot in there? I am also interested in a better suspension set up like what Mod has done. Oh, I am in Melbourne, Australia btw and changing an engine isn't an issue.
