got some questions to ask people im interested in getting one as i see most of them selling quite cheap now 2.5 to 3k range.

1)i stay in a HDB flat, and the bike is so small it becomes a eye candy for "players" so i dun feel comfortable parking it at MCP. what are the security measures that u guys took ? or all of u stay in landed ? parking at home seems to be a hassle.

2)If im not wrong its a german bike ? is parts availability a problem like are they hard to find ? im talking about engine parts like block & pistons etc.

Please aid me to my questions for my survey if this bike is a worthy one.

currently riding xr400 wants a small bike to play with.

:gun:"lovin it"

XR400:cheeky:

I've no issues at the MCP

It's a german brand... If I'm not wrong it's a honda kup engine. Have not had issues with the engine so... can't help with that.

This is a bike that you're better of getting second hand... New bike there're plenty of minor issues. Almost all the owners will have them sorted out by the time they hit 5000km.

Personally... If I were to buy a kup for transport, I'd buy this instead. Much more fun to ride.

Say few madasses with oil cooler. Wonder if that is effective since there is no oil pump.

Ya, I wanna know that too. Been contemplating whether or not to get the oil cooler fix. Seen the earlier posts that there will be lost of power. True?

The only reason to get an oil cooler is when the oil get over 120deg C. If oil too cold also no good. Cannot vapourize the water tt is trap in the oil.

Thicker oil more viscous meaning more energy is required to push it around.

The answer to your question... Yes... the next question is "how much?"

a simple and harmless test is to use lighter weight oil in your next oil change. Then feel the difference.

I've always used the thicker oil. Will try the lighter one the next time around. Any diff?

Bro, I was meddling with my bike just now and found one tube sticking out from the bottom middle part. It let out air when engine is running. I think it used to be at the airbox. Now using open pod but noticed that the filter surrounding area oily. Found out the air has a mixture of oil too. Tried blocking the tube but no difference leh. Do u have any idea what that is?

Should it be blocked?

There is one tube that runs from the airbox. That is the water drain tube. Since you have already converted to open pod then that tube can remove totally.
