decided to fix alarm. y? story as below...

 

yesterday 18-mar around 0200hrs was the last i seen my bike b4 the incident happen. i top up petrol at my bike and already reset the tripmeter(both a n b). at 2000hrs, i go to my bike n realised it was missing. i thought my bikeshop towed my bike at first, but when i think again y do they have to tow my bike if i have not default my payment? after looking around, my bike was found in another parking lot, parking heads in without my bikecover. by the way, i usually park my bike rear in with bikecover.

 

i found out the below with my bike:

my front license plate was missing.

my front repsol decals were removed to make it not look like my bike

the keyhole may be tampered with. i maybe wrong. i got trouble putting my keys in to start the bike at first. after forcing, twisting n turning, i can get my keys to get in to start the bike.

 

it looks like an attempt to steal my bike. however i'm not sure if the bike has been ridden or even towed somewhere. mayb the thief just realised my bike was hissed and couldn't get it to start unless he get it towed.

 

by the way, mine a 2004 cbr1000rr original black/grey paintwork at yishun

if anyone c my bike somewhere between 18-mar 0200hrs to 2000hrs other than at my car park, please give me a call. i will need to update my IO for any info u have given me. thank cute!

 

the incident have been reported to the police. i'm not going to post any info here what the police has found as i'm afraid the thief maybe reading this forum...

Looks like you need to get Acumen Alarm Systems

They have 3 models I am using Cat 3

If you have the $$$ get Cat 2

Give them a call look for Bernard / James they are the experts to explain more

i'm waiting 4 my 2nd coil to get burn. should be a few more thousand km... hehehe

This coil problem is scaring me. I going to phuket with my blade in April hope nothing happens Talked to one of B.S. personnel see if they can do a loan on me for the coil since my bike is still under warranty. If the coil fail at Thailand I will change it over there but the guy said I had to e-mail him and made the request to parts department. Will do so tomorow.

Dam i keep forgetting his name! If I remember correctly it was Edward he is in charge of the service department always sitting beside Wilson you will definitely meet him if you send your bike for service at B.S.

No, maybe not Edward.

 

Lemme describe him and you let me know if he fits the bill.

 

He always sweats profusely, wears a Honda Polo-T, which is trademarked with white spots all over. When his boss is not looking, he will probably pull you into a corner and tell you that the Mac is a fantastic computer. If you had bought a Mac, he will even suggest you put the free Apple logo sticker on your bike.

Eldo, get the burnt coil from LD and recoil that. Then keep it as a spare for your trip. Going for the Songkran Festival?

sorry didn't take back the coil, very fed up already then and just left after bike fixed up

 

my last coil is with edwin, not sure whether his experiment to recoil is done. you might wanna check with him.

The Mac influence came from me. Hehe.

 

Some pix from the recent trip.

 

This one is taken at the hotel driveway. The staffs were very nice. When they heard our bikes coming, they were already getting into position to usher us to park.

Sorry forgot to tell you that Acumen alarm systems are dam expensive cos I had to re type the whole message again as I am getting error messages from the server but really from personal experience it's worth the peace of mind:smile:

If what Tashi descibes is the man,our group knows this guy veri2 well.Wilson knows us too.This guy that ur referring is a big joker & talks a lot too.For long distance like Thailand,send ur burnt coil for recoil or just buy a new coil as backup.I thought i'm the only 1 getting frequent error messages.

 

Tashi - How's the F1 trip ? Ismail called me & told me that i shud have followed u guys for the trip.The party there was HOT.KL girls are party animals.Ismail told me that he just had to act innocent coz partner sticks like glue

I had some issues with him on a previous occasion regarding the Repsol stickers

He said that if they were to paste it for me B.S. will charge me $2++

Whereas Wilson just told me earlier that it was only $100++

I guess he does B****S*** around

I then told him that he couldn't expect the customer to paste it themselves as not everyone can D.I.Y like others he the told me that he relly couldn't help me on that su**er

What error messages? I'm not getting any on my Mac.

 

The trip was good, but tiring.

 

The party was happening and an eye opener for Rommel. He was amazed how peaceful ppl were, no fights or anything with such a big crowd. It was an eye opener for Ismail, but he can't see too much, kena pull ear. It was an eye opener for me too, went to see DJ Tiesto, but saw tits falling all over the place.

Raptor had his repsol done by wilson costing $100+.I don't know whether he's the same guy we're referring to.
