I just bought a new givi e350 box for my bike. Is there any tips in protecting the box from scratches, sun tan(box becoming very seasoned in rain/ shine) ?

 

I once heard that applying a little of armor all tire shine on top of the box. Acts some what as sun block for the box?

 

Not very sure of it so would like to clarify... Thanks to all

Yes, you have name it, apply arm all once or twicw a month, cover your bike if park under the sun. My givi box last me 10 years & still in good shape.

what about scratches? when getting on and off the bike shoe rubbing on the box?

 

i heard got liner to cover the sides of the box to prevent scratches...

i didnt know that there is some form of solution that could be used to protect the box. I think mine is a little seasoned alrd. the colour like abit faded.

can use maxima SC1.... spray onto ur box and it look brand new again... serious! tried and tested... its best for those matt plastic... using it on my gilera runner body too

will the box become oily when u apply the tire shine on it??

 

is it able to restore the black as mine faded and got water marks already.

you can use good old fashioned kiwi

 

or something which i tried recently, the tire black that gives car tires this wet, shiny look.
