Can I confirm the following with this example Horn require (12V, 8A, 100W), Battery is 12V, and Wire used only rated for 3A. Can current flow to activate the horn? Will this cause any thing on the line to be faulty? And one more thing, how does electrical overload occurs? (Off topic, juz wanna know)

I am not saying that I am right/wrong. Juz need clarification coz I may be wrong and would like to learn from this.

Please clarify with examples. So that other may learn from this too.

the current will still flow to activate the horn..

however, the wire will be damage as the heat build up..

since u like to read on wikipedia, see this

will explain to u wat is overload..
