Help! I kanna fine for parking at open space

Hi, I recently recieved a mail for the following offence. "Illegal parking on common property/open space" Fine $100.

 

Is it possible to appeal for it ? This is my first time. I remember that i just park beside the coffee shop to ta bao (take away) my dinner only. The fine is from Town Council.

 

Can any experience people advise me on this ?

Can try to appeal. If valid reason, possible to cancel or reduce the amount. However, it is up to their discretion. If your reasons are unacceptable to them, lan lan suck thumb and pay up. Take it as an expensive lesson and park at the proper place next time...
