Hi fellow bikers,

Looking to buy ECU (Engine Control Unit) for Yamaha R1 07. Mine haywire liao, ECU keep feeding additional fuel to the bike causing jerking acceleration at certain RPM. Showing error code 18 before startup engine. If I can fix up my bike issue, I'm planning to extend COE.

So the thing is, if you are planning to scrap can please consider to sell the ECU or even if you're exporting, I will be paying for the workmanship for swapping of the ECU from my bike to yours. Since exporting they don't really care the condition of your bike as long as it can move and they seriously are already low-blowing us.

Interested party please contact me at 9145-9091 (SMS/Whatsapp/call), we can negotiate the price and meeting from there.

Thank you so much!

Regards,

Wayne

Hi ngkt, thanks for the reply. I did a swap with a R1 before (it was a customer from my mechanic, he wanted to confirm is it due to ECU). Result is that the error code disappeared. I didn't did a test ride on it, but I assume it also fix the fuel/ratio thingy.

May I ask what may cause herky jerky effect?

Thanks for the reply fx110,

I have already did a checkup at K&T, boss there even did a swap with another bike's working ECU and had confirm its my ECU that's toasted. Original ECU cost about 1.5k, unless bo bian really don't wanna change 1st hand.

hey Allen, thanks for the recommendation. Did browse ebay earlier, 2nd hand part plus shipping cost at least $450 to $500. (My Mech say there's a chance it's not compatible or not working totally, don't really trust ebay imo)

Not really in a rush though, so browsing over local seller first.
