Serpentine : No worries about the full face ... I feel it looks cool and much safer too. Myself intending to get a HJC (maybe) FF soon.

And for the price difference, most prob other factors account from not only age but also experience on road, etc. Also COE $1200 leh ... $400 more than mine when I got it in Feb. My COE in feb is about $800+.

True wats wrong using a ff? Safer and looks cool haha.follow ur heart bahs

But i have yet to try just offering views frm my other frends whom have used it, sry for the not so complete info.

you need to open up the ignition area n find the cable which connects the the key to the seat, juz pull on it n it should pop open.... the difficult thing is to find the cable n trying to pull it open, ...... theres also another area at the side cover u can try to locate the same cable, gd luck bro :thumb:

Hi Winson, from what i know, we're supposed to be given two keys upon purchase. One is the triangular shaped key (the master key) & the other is with some round motifs (a duplicate). I think you should go back to your dealer and get the other key if you don't have it. Perhaps they used it when setting up the bike for you and forgot about it. Try to keep the master key safe and not use it because you need the master to program the duplicates if you ever want to make more keys. If you lose that then it'll be a real hassle for you to get the master replaced. I've not made new keys before so i'm not sure when to make them. Sorry, but you might want to call up Piaggio to ask. Good luck dude.

HI Estella,

Clock:

1. Push and hold the "CLOCK" button for a few secs until the numbers start flashing.

2. Set hrs using the "SET" button.

3. Push "CLOCK" again to go on to mins, then use "SET" button to set mins.

4. When done, press "CLOCK" button again to start the clock working as per normal.

Lights:

You done need to disassemble the lights to change the bulbs. Instead, you'll have to remove the front cover to access the back of the lights. The frot cover can be removed by removing the Gilera logo and removing the screw that's hidden by the logo. Then just push the front cover upwards and it'll come off. Next, just grab the socket (follow the cable) that's attached to the respective lamp that you want and give it a little twist and it should come loose. You'll be able to change the bulb there.

Hi guys, has anyone of you tried lowering your ST200? Seat height is a little too high for my wife to ride so i'm thinking of lowering it. The saddle maker tells me that the padding is only about 1.5 inches thick so the only way to lower the bike is to change the rear shocks. I'm not sure i want to do that though... :/

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie. I looking at buying the ST200. How the handling in cornering and in windy condition? Does the high centre of gravity effect the handling?

Thx

if your bike is still new, i advise to wait til the rear springs break-in, cos i find it too low after it break in, n change to an after market to make it higher.

a scooter will handle like a scooter, if u r expecting precision , stable cornering, get a sportsbike then. Anyway s'pore aint that windy, but if u go on highspeed it will wobble. Of cos the CG plays an important part in handling the bike, it is the same with all bikes, how it handles depends on where the CG is situated.

I need opinions from other ST200 owners.

I'm thinking of changing my mirrors and windshield to the smaller ones. But I keep thinking will be harder to see and smaller windshield meaning more likely to get "hit" by wind?

Are there really more cons than pros to changing them?

Please advise ... :p

Hi nicky69hayden, thanks for the advise! I'll wait for the rear shox to break in and see how it goes then. :) appreciate it!
