yea..must make appt first..of nt wrong 3 days advance.. they gt their own oil..AGIP 5w40..wif gst is $29.40 if not mistaken( walau, still got gst!!!)..u can bring ur own oil..they will change for u foc..if nt use their oil n play lo..

What engine oil u guys use?.. muz be 5w40? What else needs to be changed at 1000km?.. like filter n stuff..

Hi alienalien, i've been wanting to change them ever since i got mine too. the original ones rusts like nobody's business. each time i ask someone, they just say hardware shop. i'm gonna try to find them tmr. will let u know if i find any.

hi skazuz, thanks for the tip. i went around asking the entire area but no luck still. even the shops that specialize is nothing but screw, nuts & bolts don't carry them. Has any of you gotten replacements screws for your runners b4?

Hi Bros, just a general question. I bought a brand new ST 200 about 2 months ago and the bike in general doesn't seem to be very well manufactured. Is it the same with you guys?

 

Within the first week, all the screws and bolts have rusted and tarnished. The bike started having difficult start ups and jerks when moving off from stationary. Turned out there was a crack somewhere near the carb. At the end of the first month, the bike couldn't start at all, due to faulty "antenna" that they had to replace (the sensor that detects the key). Headlight wasn't working either. Now in week 8, i'm having the same old stuttering & jerks when moving off again and the signal switch is faulty and needs to be replaced. I can't help but feel that i've bought a lemon...

hey serpentine, is yours black..? coz when i went to agent, they say the black shipment alot of probs. if yours is still under warranty, book an appointment with them and check your transmission. mine was jerky but they managed to solve it..

i only have problems with the meter. moist in the meter n RPM sometimes goes to 0 or 13 whenever the bike feels like it...

 

just go to the agent n rectify as its free for 1 year or 10k km.

2) Whenever i park side stand...the sound of the bell can be heard very loud...Check with my mechanic was being told the stands is making the sound...

i m kinda lost? headlight for?

 

just go to the agent for servicing since its the last servicing. after that u can go tai hin or future scootering.

how old is ur bike? i have the same experience for the first 700KM as the belting is still new and all ur parts inside is still rough. after 900KM everything is fine..

1 year plus already. These sounds has been living with me for a long time. I got spray my main and side stands with wd40. The sound did dissapear for a short while. Hehe.
