If it is GPS built in should be free when using the map. Those without GPS built in will have to pay when you download & use it. This is my point of view cos last time using 6110 Navigator. I'm thinking to get this phone but waiting for better user review.

anyone want to confirm?

No, i don't think so. Use before & it's free for sure.. If you don't connect to GPRS should be fine.

When you open nokia map 2.0, they will ask if u wanna go online or something like tht. If u click no, u will not be using gprs. But if u click no the time to get satellite lock on will be slower as compare to using the AGPS

Using GPS wont incur any charges. 6110 dont have AGPS so it wont incur GPRS charges.

Thought of goin down today to get the 6210 navigator but my voucher havent recieved hehe heard from a friend 1 month GPS usage is $20+ but 1 year is only $100+.

Just stick to GPS if you use the A-GPS it will also use up ure GPRS thats what will incur more cost.

"A typical A-GPS-enabled cell phone will use an internet connection to contact the assistance server."
