GOOD DAY FORUMERS and BIKERS,

 

I RECENTLY visited a bike shop and brought a new bike on 12/8. I opt for a particular color.

 

TODAY, I called in to CHECK and requested for a change of color. THEY TOLD ME "this is not impossible as everything is fixed". I am quite upset as this is a brand new purchase from the shop and it cost me a hefty sum of 4k.

 

Am they suppose to change the color for me though I made a agreement with them? I am not very sure with the rules and regulations therefore I seek opinion with you all, izzit possible? I am rather pissed off and angry as I will be only collecting my bike next two week.

 

Anyway care to share their comments and experience?

 

THANKS. If it is possible to change but they refused to change for me, I might write a letter to CASE and complaint as I am really treated unfairly by the shop seller.

They are not obliged to change the colour for you if everything is stated clearly on the receipt. It really isn't any good even if you complain. Think of it as they ordered this certain colour, and the order had been confirmed. So they are unable to change the colours for you.

 

On the other hand, they might be able to change it for you. This will be based on how they accomodate the customer. Chances are they will not order a single bike with a single colour. They will probably order in bulk. But as I said, they are NOT obliged to change it.

 

Try to talk nicely and ask them for a favour to change. Maybe they will help u in that way. :)

guess u got to be fair to the shop, since you opted for the color and they got it for you, and not that they cant get the color you opted in the 1st place.

 

there maybe other reasons why it cant be changed. they may have gotten the bike registered already etc...

 

i dun see any unfairness from the bikeshop, as it is already 3 days since you placed your order and certain documentation may have already been done.
