goes well with 125z..with why 80/90 front and 90/80 rear tyres:thumb:

Sorry don't quite get you here. I'm using the standard rims found on the "Go" model. What tyre size would you recommend? Want something good for cornering and don't like oversized tyres. Thanks.

that sport rim is 1.6 thick recommended 80/90 90/80 if u wan better cornering la

but best is to change thicker rims for better cornering if dun wanna play corner can use the sotong rims lolz

so urs sport rim..thought spoke..what i mean is for spoke rim if u wanna change rim size.

for go model sport rim front is 1.40 witdh and rear 1.60..

best go for rear- 80/90 battalax.that's the smallest size battallax has..and front can try 80/80 from dunlop thailand.becoz 80/90 don't goes well with 1.40 witdh rim.can try if u want to.

Hi,

How's the fitting of your racing boy footrest? Do you have to modify any existing part on your bike?

I fixed my RACING BOY footrest at Johor few mths back. Cost me RM150 including werkmanship laz time. Of course there are other brands availablle such as Yoshimura, Moto R but very the EXPENSIVE. Racing Boy is not bad. Wat i observed is dat there are no other modification done to the bike while fixing. The only thing is dat REAR LITE WILL NOT be werking anymore as the alignment are totally different than usual. Racing footrest is much HIGHER than the stock ones. Unsuitable for TALL riders. But very SHIOK for short riders like me. Just dat i want to modify the footrest so dat the rear light will SHOW. Any one can help......?

I see, thanks. Do you mean the brake light? Anyway I heard that the kick starter will have problem, your's ok? Those Yoshimura type are not original right? Where is a good shop to go in JB to mod Y125z? Thanks.

Hi, Pro Drive... Bout the TYRE, I've tried MICHELLIN PILOT SPORT. Not bad for CORNERING & SPEED bcoz of it's SMALL size. Only available size 70/90 for front & rear but NO GOOD for wet surface, SLIPPERY WHEN WET... The best is Bridgestone Batallax or Dunlop TT900 but make sure it's made in JAPAN ONLY. VERY GOOD for both DRY & WET surfaces. For DAILY use, it's BETTER u use size 80/90 for front & rear. But if u like CORNERING very much then u use 90/80 for front & rear. It depends on U... For me, daily use i TRUST Batallax 80/90... Coz i don't corner TOO DEEP. And the VERY MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL is SPEEP & EMERGENCY HARD BRAKING.... Battalax 80/90 is STABLE... Made in JAPAN, remember...

Yup, i forgot... The KICK STARTER must sent for HEATING at Eunos. They will BENT your KICK START to suit the new FOOTREST alignment. Cost me less than $10 to do that at Eunos Vespa Shop coz they have this kind of Acythelin Cutter to HEAT & BEND the kickstart. But for mine, i just have to reADJUST the KICK START so that it rest UNDER the footrest, U get wat i mean....? Johor, there's a lot of GOOD SHOP out there. But go for the CHINESE mechanics coz i TRUST them more than others. Cheap, good & knowledgable..

Dear fellow 125z brothers,

I have a great offer for you all!

Those who are running with stock air boxes without filters and using chamber pipes, DONT DO THAT.

You will never know what sh*t can ever get into your carb, needless to say the engine, without a filter fitted on.

I have a filter element made by No-Toil for your 125z boxes. Rest assured that the power that you have now will not decrease, in fact, it would increase in pck up and response!

And its now going as a special offer at $8.50, or @ $10 with installation! This is the same price of a STOCK AIR FILTER FOAM!

And that's not only what you will get when I personally install it for you. I will also coat it with filter oil, and anytime when the filter gets dirty and you would like to clean it, I will do it for you.

I have limited numbers only. For those interested, you can SMS me @ 94388826~ Currently for you 125z guys only! :cheeky:

Yours Sincerely,

Ray

PS: That doesn't mean it gives you a reason to speed in Singapore! :faint:

Any takers? I'm selling my RXZ carb for those who have changed pipe already.

Its yours for $90 only~ You will get better mileage then stock (27~30km/l @ avg 100km/h),

and even though being a bigger carb, it also gives you better power, pick up and throttle response too!

I will give you a spare main jet also~

Best is if it was used with the No-Toil filter currently on sale just for you guys riding 125Zs~

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My bike is undergoing its Part 2 of my Stage 2 mod of my 125Z!

1st stage was half done by the previous owner, namely;

BM Power Pipe

RXZ Carb

Battlax Tyres

Moto R Rearsets

HEL Brakehoses

Heavy Duty Clutch Springs

Chain and Sprox 15 Frt 42 Rear

Part 1 of the Stage 2 Mods were namely;

Machined Ported & Polished Block

Hi-Comp Head

Redone Piston

Changed Ignition Timing

Sprox 40 Rear

Part 2 of the Stage 2 Mods to be finished tommorrow will be namely;

Engine Overhaul (Just to Check)

V Force Reed Valve unit and Valves

(Stock 4 Metal Reeds to 8 Carbon Fibre Reeds)

Trimmed Manifold

Keihin PWK Carb

No-Toil Filter

Pre-Mix Fuchs Silkolene

Re-worked AirBox

Free-flo hoses

3rd stage oresumbly will be;

Different tyre profiles and rims

Outlook

Re-worked Front Sus

Steering Damper

Brake calipers

etc, etc.......

:cheeky:

All in all you don't spend much actually. For example lets look at the better filter, its the same price as the stock one! Furthermore, you have the assurance of reputable mechanics too! And you don't need to travel all the way to JB, where imitation or fake original parts made from China are fixed onto your bike which won't last long. ITs actually turns out to be cheaper in the long run~ :goodluck:

But something you will get others wouldn't be able to - Knowledge! :cheeky:
