Stok engine, carb, etc.

14/39 sprocket

Free flow pipe

max 160kmh

 

cons:

not enough pick up perf

dreaming of 190kmh in 1000m, indonesian road is poor, so there's no way i can use small sprocket to enhance top speed, the road is not long enough for me achive max speed. so i need the shortest, fastest pick up performance!

smoke off KRR, AP 125

 

 

wish to do:

racing cdi, magnet, coil etc plug n play part

dont want ported engine, i need to keep it as stock as posible

so i just want to use plug n play kit part, like change carb, jetting, electrical appliances, etc

 

any recomendation?

Im interested in YYPang 125Z racing exzos pipe, but im looking for 'samping' type so i dont need to sacrifice the double stand/side stand. FYI not the standart type, but the racing looks, with the welding effect look but 'samping/side' type.not underneath.

anybody have reference?

 

does YYpang, BM Power or AHM have website? i try google but cant find any.

 

i know it will be abit problem using samping type when cornering right side, but its ok for me since i just need 'the look' + 'performance upgrade'. indonesian road does not support low cornering so i will never do that. i need the power improvement for straight road race only..

 

i saw ppl selling the AHM titanium end can, it looks gorgeous, wish can have it in PG Malaysia/spore?

any contact in PG who sell mentioned pipe n AHM titanium End Can??

 

FYI, there's no way to get any alternative racing parts here in my country due to less people using this bike.

125Z is a Complete Built Up Bike from Malaysia, in 1998 Yamaha Indonesia imported around 1000 pcs, and thats it! no more! so its price gone high, around SGD 4000 compare to local bike SGD 2200!! and also become sort of exclusive rare bike!

 

please help...

immax, ur top speed is the same as mine wen i first test my bike, it was standard though. i really dunno much bout moddin the engine. y dun u try change sum stuff to racing type lyk racing cdi, boyesen reed valves, bored blocks & bigger piston or even small tyres. can't expect on juz a pipe to do the werk isn't it.

IF i'm not wrong its arnd sgp 95++bucks, at welda. malaysia shuld be cheaper.

even if zr's caliper is diff frm the old z's model, still can fix mah coz the front fork still da same. they shuld include da bracket, but if doesn't, hentam them ar...

werkin from morning till six in the eve juz now, eve part raining very heavy, visibility=s#it, bt wat to do, still gotta send them

check wif u guys,any shop got sell operated stock exhaust? wat i mean is operated but shape still looks original?

standard chamber/j.b. looks exactly lyk standard but the diameter of the silencer looks bigger.

forget the name liao/b-plus(i tink). looks the same but can change the silencer(three screw)

thks but those wif 3 screws k be fine for $500 as my friend kenna. look as similar to original.Hope to get it from sg.

Ok bro, i'll try to help you as much as i could. :thumb: Seems like you really have a lot of questions ...

 

Well, you really have a mountain to climb if you want your zed to be a worthy adversary of the KRR. Its not gonna be easy, but i think you can do it easier than anyone of us cos' you can modify "until siao" and nobody would say anything . I never heard of the other bike you mentioned, AP125 ...

 

I wouldn't say that its not a good idea, but if you don't want to port & polish , rebore, bigger piston, etc. then your choices of mods and the improvements to the bike as a whole may be somewhat unnoticable or less drastic . For example, the exhaust system can only do so much for your bike pick-up or top speed, depending on your choice. What you want to have now is a person who can tune your bike perfectly. Not just tune to bring you from point A to B, but to push your engine to its limits. Air to Fuel ratio and graphs with torque peaks comes to mind and anything short of perfection can lead to a seizure.

 

If i understand you correctly, you want an exhaust system with the expansion chamber to run by the side right ? So far, i haven't seen any ... The nearest that you can get to that is the expansion chamber runs underneath the frame (right offset) and the muffler runs just under your right pillion footrest. But it might pose a small problem, if there were humps and potholes.

 

We get most of our parts from malaysia too, so i think its best to look for parts there. YY Pang, AHM, Racing Boy ... blah, blah, blah ... comes from Malaysia. Or if you want to, can also get it from some of the forumers here who frequents J.B. and work something out....
