Its a treatment that prevent wear and tear by eliminating friction..any metals contact that rubs or are in contact...like gear teeth to gear teeth. Reach high rpm faster without stress to engine and coat itself to scarring metal surfaces to bring back the performance of your ride. Its not a FLUSH. Even if you run dry off eo due to some reason, with X-1R used in your eo..yyou can run without eo for quite sometime.

 

1 bottle is in US 8 oz. 1st treatment is 2oz per little. Eo can last up to 7k to 10k before change. Thereafter..you only need 1 oz per litre for 2nd eo changes and future changes.

They TOTALLY two different thing. Flush is like chemical for cleaning engine residues and sluges and to some extend "acidic". Try not to use it at all. If you have change eo timely..95% of the engine gear bos etc..is clean. Afraid sometime this flush treatment can harm other stuff like bearing seals...etc.

Its not a product that sells openly off the shelf anywhere but there are ppl selling it (I have no info). Buying a bottle is more costly at $49..in bulks are cheaper. Its normally sold to cars player in bulk at a cheaper price.

 

There are many metal conditioner or also know as "friction eliminator". They all does the same thing and provide a coating to metal surface even when eo leaks and run dry, you can ride for kms without eo till repair in a workshop is at hand. All this product are highly price because they perform as advertised. But have to be very careful though..most of them are made from different stuff..ALWAYS look for the label that says it can be used for motocycle. The clutch in our bike is wet mesh..meaning soaked in eo..car ones are dry..seperated from the gear box where eo resided. Otherwise, you gonna help slip clutch problems and damages to bearing seal etc.

 

X-1R is the cheapest among most of the lot and is one I trusted and been using for long time from cars to bikes..even lube my chain once awhile(expensive way)..and only one approved an use by NASA (yes rocket to the moon) and AMI (American Motorcycle Institude).

 

Plse..this is not and advertisement...just sharing what I know from personal usage..the product is available at Autobac (repacked in Malaysia) and other private sources (no info but someone ever posted a contact here). I buy myself in bulk for better pricing for personal uses.

Are these X-1R product from Malaysia..imported from US but repacked? The original ones from USA are 3 in 1...no individual as mentioned in your earlier post.

I taken yr recommendation to top up "Power-Up" - having a quantity of about 260ml - the recommended quantity for motorcycle is 70ml each oil change. However, I abit greedy, poured about half of it into existing engine oil.

From Mustaffa for a cost of 31 dollars, and NTUC selling at 29 dollars per bottle, 2 dollars poorer..

3 in 1 meaning the Engine Treatment , Automatic Transmission Treatment and Manual Transmission Treatment are all blended in one single bottle. As for the single type packaging one from Malaysia (originally selling in Autobac a year ago..never see them carry the Engine treatment one for quite sometime), in my opinion and two other user had tried it..it does not feel the same as the one direct from USA.

 

Anyway, if the repacked one works its fine but I'm always very septical about the ppl doing it. If you want to compare, I still have some left. Someone just told me that the "Green oil" from Carefour did not do as good as the one I have..packing wise, the cap is different and the colour residues were not as green as the one I have..somemore, it cost more. Got to be careful what you buy these days.

Recently top up my S4 with a bottle of stp fuel treatment. Purchased at an offered price of 20 dollar (usual is 25 dollar), the direction is twice a year. I find the costs reasonable, and hope that the fuel system is ok after consuming this treatment...haha:cheeky:

A good choice also provided one bottle annually.

 

Comma Petrol D-TOX - Fuel System Cleaner - 400ml selling price 18.50 dollar.

Just one bottle needed annually for vehicle above one year old - also a good choice.

Any ppls out there tried using STP engine flush or STP oil treatment on their Super 4? Heard rumours from car mechanic thats both of the product only suitable for cars. If use it on bikes, it will wear out the clutch plate, piston, rings of most of the stuff. Thanks.
