Semi Full Face Helmet

Ok i swear i have no idea where to post this and this was kinda the closest :|

Anyway, my semi full face broke. Exact details is this :

- Cheap brand GDR

- For memories sake, wish to repair it

- One side of the visor came off totally. since the visor is attached to the "chin" part of the helmet, it came off as well. there seemed to be like a chipped portion on that part. i tried knocking it back/screwing it back/wadeva but to no avail.

 

Just wondering is there any shops that actually does these kinds of helmet repairs? If yes, where please, thanx a bunch

oh. i believe you are talking about a flipup fullface helmet?

 

I doubt that regina offers any repair services for their GDR helmets. It may prove to be easier to buy a new one.

 

Flipup fullface helmets have nifty locking mechanisms to lock the chinbar in place. if you really want to salvage your helmet, i would advise you to find the instruction booklet that comes with your helmet on how to remove the chinbar, and then try to figure out exactly which part needs to be replaced.
