Illegal bro. Definitely will get summoned if caught. Besides, you'll compromise the stability of the bike. Wait until you get your Class 2 & then, get a Ducati, MV Augusta & VFR...

Not illegal as long as the manufacturer of the swingarm is able to certify that it's meant to be fitted onto the X1R and after installation you send the bike in to LTA for inspection and it doesn't flout any standing regulations on vehicle modifications. Anything's possible, within the law of course.

 

But if I were to be frank, I'd simply ask: What in blue blazes for? Quick wheel changes on track days?
