Expiry on traffic offenses??

Just hoping for some advice. I got a summon for riding about 3 years ago but didn't hear from the IO about it. Suddenly my case got resurrected recently and am now being questioned about something that took place over 3 years ago. I recall reading something about how summons become void after some period of time and offender cannot be held to task if TP didn't follow up within a reasonable time frame. Is this correct? Or do offences last forever and ever amen??

hmmmm...i dun think summon will be Void..it will be always in their system....b4 they can find out and dig in ur case again...

 

just like in the past...some ppl never been called back for reservice...after that being dig out b4 they can ROD,Mindef have changed to electronic system...reservice personnel can never be able to escaped again..

after 1 year..somemore bought new bike.. then suddenly letter came. sigh
