knocking like sound when stationary

i do have the same problems too, i'm riding a super v spec 1... my mech says might be the sound from the front socket, 5 days ago after i installed scot oiler the sound seems to disappear... so far still going good...

hihi, that depends on how each individual uses their brakes ya...

 

most of the time this sound is produced by metal "bua" metal... so most likely ur brake pads "botak" liaoz kekeke

in neutral gear there is knocking feel/sound, when u clutch in and the knocking feel/sound is gone, confirm its the clutch housing that is worn.

 

Normally it when u start your bike after sometime when the engine is cold, tends to get this knocking sound/feel. after sometime when the bike is warmed up the knocking sound should be minimun. Still can ride with no worries..

 

if even after the engine is warmed up and the knocking is still very serious, then time to change the clutch housing.

 

same situation as my spec 1. initially also thought is timing chain.. but mech confirmed that its the clutch housing that is worn.

yup,..this is true..... unless when u riding still got sound..than its really time to change.
