Troubleshoot ur Super4!

As I siad in my last post, You can actually chrome it at Ban Hon workshop at AMK Industrial Park 2. They quoted me $60.

hi im riding a spec 1.....sometimes when i change gear, after clutching in kick up the gear and clutch out, there is the sound like my gear is stuck, got the tak tak tak sound and the bike is as if its in neutral except tt there is no light at the neutral there...i nid to clutch in again and kick the gear 1 more time to solve this problem....who knows what is the problem? izzit my gear box or?

go to motordiam or anyone with a voltmeter n check whether ur batt is really gng to die or not. can go planet motors n ask the boss to help u check, tht time he help me check n charge batt for me all FOC

maybe ur clutch cable tension, tighten or loosen to try lor

Hi everyone, got a problem here. My s4 doesn't seemed to be balanced.... tried riding at about 60 to 70km and i when i released both my hands, my bike swerve to the right. anyway to reactify this problem? i've just changed my steering cone, and the alignment of my fork looks ok to me.....

Check your front tyre and also ur fork.

1. tyre not balance, maybe some stone or etc suck in between the tyre tracts

2. Fork not balance needs to adjust. Screw lose

hey cliff.. i think u are right with my problem.. i using scott oiler.. before i fix scott oiler.. i use kerosene to do a thorough clean on the chain.. till u touch the chain also no greese at all.. then i go fix... and after fixing.. i on the level till quite small.. 1 drop per min or 1 drop per 1and1/2 min.. so yesterday i try to on to the fullest.. run for 5 km.. and switch back to normal.. the problem start to disappear........ i think it's the chain no lube then........ thanx a lot

Guys what is the millage you get from your super 4??? I'm riding a V-tec and my millage is 220km without reserve. Is that normal cause it seams dam little. Can anyone advise me what i can do or change to up the millage thanks!!!

Not normal, my bandit400 runs till 240km then on reserve. Super4 should be better.

definately not normal

it should reach about 300km b4 it starts flashing~

 

but your riding style matters...

how do u usually ride?

drag all gears? shift @ 4k rpm?

cruising 120?

my vtec 1 ard 260-280 starts flashing liao....me normal riding...drag till rpm 4 den change gear...den normal speed 80....onli tt i throw clutch when i change gear....izzit high anot ah the fuel consumption? :giddy:

Cos most S4 on the road wit tat RXZ header only fix wit one bulb.

that is what i did when i have my other bikes like X9 .

what about S4 , and how often do u guys change spark plugs , and engine oil ?

Ride until almost 70k ald still going strong, mine's a Ver-S..

haha, onyl that going to change timing chain soon le..

Change coolent once every year lor.. flush radiator too...

Engine oil change every 3 months or 5k which ever comes first..

spark plug ma.. ard 10k la, together with it service or wash carb + tuning lor...

actually is yr own preference and buget limitations lah...

i can get 350 before reserve....normal riding....usually 100 - 110 on the road

hey... i'm riding a version S...

ever since i wack it till the max speed...

the engine started to have extra tick tick sounds...

is it the piston ring?

or spark plug spoiled?

or out of tuned?

or time for a full sevicing?

 

and btw.. how much is a full sevicing cost??

Hi everyone... jus bought a CB400 after riding my Gsxr400 becos of the torturing riding position.. am quite proud to owe a CB400 now cos its an awesome bike... but cos i am still a newbie... can anione tell me more abt this bike?? does the coolant nid to be top up frequently and where do i top up?? how far can a full tank last?? does the bike has any place where we can lock our helmet?? wat is the best tyre for Super 4?? eh wats the normal tyre air pressure for front and back? riding a spec 2.. then rear tire got mend b4... scare air will leak..
