hi...my spec 1 got alot of problems...just bought it from a motordiam...

the clutch handle is damn stiff but its already screwed to the most loose liao....and then when i clutch out that time also got funny sounds...

when i pick up that time...its not very smooth...quite jerky....and when i slow down...i experience very strong engine braking....and the bike vibrates alot...worse is when i go on highway...my vtec cant seem to open like that....no power...max my bike can go is 100km/h.... and the idling speed of the bike fluctuates....is it due to tuning...can someone advise me please????

At first i thought it's your chain too tight. Then read further, only know of a better answer:

Go back to the bike shop and ask them to do a through check.Since just bought, should be under warranty.(Depends on bike shop.At least 1 month or worst case 1 week) Before that if you have any friends with familiar bikeshop, ask them to bring you there and ask for second opinion first. This can prevent 'cover-up' by the shop where u got your bike.

Life's a gift... That's why they called it the present.

hmmmm..... really ?

but how about the vtec?

my rpm is not responsive beyond 5k.... then how about the clutch out sound?

the shop gave me 1 month warranty....but actually im quite pissed off with that guy...my friend's father some more....

oh geeez.... just found out my Version S when on Netural gear ... i clutch in the clutch plates there seems to have sound..but when engage in..sound gone even holding the clutch..any idea if i need to change the whole clutch plates again????

clutch housing loose.nt the clutch plate.

many a time it is due to wear and tear which cause it.

so after u change le it will be the same again. thus many change only after a few yr.

nvm already.. cannot tahan the sound.. changed new chain and sprockets..

:cheer:

After changing to new set of chain and sprockets, my 2 cents advice is to invest on a oiler system for them to last longer.

it could be the low beam fuse.

take the bulb out for a check. u shld see a loose filament hanging ard.

else is the connection at the headlight. take some body bulb to try else use a multimeter.

Hi, sorry! newbie question.

High beam as well as the low beam share the same bulb right?

If both are sharing the same bulb right,

den it should be the connector or wiring parts to look out for,

since my high beam is still working brightly right?

Izzit just remove the 3 screws (Top, right, left) mounted on the headlight?

:btw: this problem occurs most of the time? Wat caused it to fail?

izzit due to the heavy rain? :help:

ya they are in the same bulb. the filament are two different 1.

if all ok. and u r a vtec 1. look for whisky or puzzle. they always have this prob. shld be able to advise u more.

ya the method is correct.

cheers.

simplest thing to do is to try another bulb.

from there, you will know whether its your buld or your wiring.

but 90% of the time, its the bulb.

Think simple.

Need some advice and help....

My horn seems to be having some problem. When I press my horn, it doesn't sound... sometime it does, sometime it doesn't.

Checked my voltmeter and lightings... battery seems fine....

Anyone has any idea what could the problem be? Loose connection, damaged wire etc?

It has been working fine for the last 6 months...

Thanx~!
