Same here too,travelled through pouring rain;never got sick...Katana you weak la lol but I hope I get sick really...the only way I can take a break from work is if I take MC...quick quick meet me for cough appointment,I wanna be infected.."do harder to me too"LOL

:dozed:hey ninja...i too wana install alarm on my baby..last 2 days i park it at my work place,cover wit bike cover n lock the handle bar..soon after my duty returning to my bike and get shock..the canvas wat taken out and left it on the floor and being tore apart..my bike was shift out of the parkinf slot..next to it was a cbr400 if im not wrong..fu**ing piss of..tulan liao..pack stuff n was abt to ride when i discover that my handle bar was loose...staright away go to c.k.a jurong to repair..told dat the idiot use force when shifting my bike coz of the lock handlebar..so nw wana install alarm quick2..

 

 

is ur alarm the perimeter sensor or shock type?where to purchase it..?does the shop provide installation too?how much does it coz..nid to install it fast2 coz of dos idiots wif itchy hand like to anyhow touch2 n shift bike..as*hol*...:dot:.

tat is so sad ... alarm is crucial as it enhance security of bike ..

Be humble on the road at all times coz u'll neva noe wen u need any rider's help...

wah sibeh sian.... 5 days ago ride in super big rain fever until now.... zzzz so therefore a note to all.. no matter how zai the raincoat is, riding in rain for more than 15 mins will still get u sick @_@.....

 

 

burning...... screw satan and friends... tml still need to go do duty at Tuas

 

wah! so unlucky! got 1 time i got caught in heavy rain for 3 straight days. still not sick. only got 1 day wear raincoat. must be the flu vaccination still going on strong inside my body. haha... lucky now no more rainy season. now can be safe when working.

Oh... my RwR also got push down by bugger in 1st week. But that time I had no intention to install alarm cos I think in SG still quite safe. And all the while I resisted the idea to install the alarm cos I worry about the battery drain. But since I go touring regularly, I think I have no choice but to install one.

 

I installed the cheapest brand SPY. Retail price is $165 (negotiable) and with installation. I got it from motoworld. This alarm is quite good cos it exceed all my requirements. It is 2-way, and come with Shock sensor, Microwave (perimeter) sensor, and anti-hijack (remote on/off) function.

 

Both sensor sensitivity can be adjusted. So I set Shock sensor to Max cos my main purpose is dun wan it get stolen. Then I set Perimeter sensor to min and only if u sit on the seat it will go off. I asked the mech to disable to anti-hijack function cos I dun wan anything to do with my CDI, but that also sacrifice some function such as engine disabling while alarm go off...

 

Anyway I still monitor if I need the anti-hijack function... so far both shock n perimeter sensor serve me well... :thumb::thumb::thumb:

You guys are making me paranoid. Keep talking about ppl touching your bikes and stuff. I cant sleep easy like that at night, worrying about my bike.

last night i was shaking, pushing, touching my bike to test my alarm sensitivity. The alarm go on n off... but those passerby just act me as invisible n bochap... sigh... i think if thief wanna steal or push they still can do it one... alarm is just to give the owner piece of mind nia... hahahaha...

actualy before install alarm, i squat beside my bike do alot of things even police passed by also bochap me... haha... so i think alarm maybe just add on as surprise factor for thief... their first reacion will be shock first... wan to fled or steal up to their guts.. hahaha...

alarm deters thieves ... If it sound in the wee hours in the mornin , residents wld stay awake and peer out of their windows and thieves cldnt have a piece of mind ....

Ya sadly I feel its the same everywhere,ppl just look and go on with their routine...its not like they give a damn,maybe a bit when the alarm goes off but after that who gives a damn you know...hey that means you can sell your Xena to Aeykel lol you don't need it anymore.
