Sorry to hear about your friend bro,it could have happened to anyone of us,I guess we see it everyday,riding is like a form of art it keeps us alive.And I mean riding safely and anticipating those buggers, left side also still want to squeeze bikers out.Thats why I always ride defensively only when the road is clear do I whack throttle abit other than that once I hit congestion I mindforce myself to stay in control and get the heck out of the cars' predicted routes.

 

Ndy you removed yr MainStand WHY??LOL I too know of lots of ppl who want their bike fixed with a stock stand but our RwR is really an all in one. Good weight.Fuel Injection.Good Posture.Good FC.Good Design(though not as aggressive as R125).Main Stand.etc WHY???!!!

 

Oh since we're talkin abit about Lubing,doesn't CKA do that for us you mean you guys actually bought lube to do the chains yourself?

if you take a closer look, the chain is very near to the stand. you hv to do regular ck esp. if you like to drag yr bike. i took it out as precaution as i m a lazy man plus i ride at 110 to 120 km/h daily. i don't use the stand anyway. i hv decide after more than a month as roy also advise not to remove. personal preference, that all....

wooooo.....well you know what I didn't use my stand for 3weeks since I got my bike on the 13Jan...coz it was freaking heavy,it was until I dropped mybike and brought her to CKA and saw AhPing;you know small guy and all suddenly and effectively place buffy on her main stand then I realized it was technique I didn't know.I observed and saw him hold the small handle and then I realized I was parking her all wrong. Because I love to park on mainstand,I feel that side stand really quite precarious.

So now after my Eureka I've been faithfully parking her on mainstand everyday.

HEhehe just came back from loois, changed EO to Racing EO, adjusted n lubed chain, tml morning wash bike, den head down to Ah boy there install my 2nd Red or Blue Eye, den meet up with u guys at flyer ^^... Nudge hope u can make it tml too! maybe just drop by den go back to hospital? =)

good to park on main stand, abit troublesome when moving off. i used to park main stand too, but then i realised even big bikes park w/side stand ok so why not my bike.

Yea i know lol... unless kana caught "CHOY" LTA wont be checking it before i sell my bike away before inspection =)

 

Its just a pole light, not the main light, at most dont put any bulb at all, still can pass as long as main light i nv touch =)

yea i also drag alot and my chain is also very near the stand. wana remove and the only thing that is stopping me is lubing the chain. yes, cka can do it for u but u go to cka like once every 2000km? heavy rain will wash off lubricant and it is good to keep the chain lubricated.

Ya man was free since Wed night after I cleared my test.So was bumping ard enjoying my sleep, walking around in my house aimlessly,staring out the window,looking at the sky.Thinking about you guys working.:faint:tiring

yalor... just now Roy also puzzled y ndy removed the main stand... but that is his decision la must respect individual choice...

 

oh... i neber ask bike shop to lube... cos they use those oil may fling one... i enjoy DIY my bike myself for alot of things... its a way to learn ur bike and it will be handy if u go touring...

if u have mainstand pls park ur bike in main stand la... cos it is safer on sandy ground too...

 

got technique one, and just need minimum force la... u just need to put down ur mainstand in balance liao, then step ur weight onto the mainstand n the other hand pull it up, simple... maybe can show u later?

aiya.. if u scared the bike drop while doin e mainstand.. drop the side stand down first b4 attempt mainstand.. kick the mainstand down, find the balancing point of the bike, then use slight force kick e mainstand all the way down + pull the bike to the back.. there u go! mainstand.

ya...actually havin mainstand solves a lot of headaches but the best thing it does is still being able to roll the wheel to lube easily...

But Lus you got to take into consideration RwR's weight,for me I'm quite light weight but got muscle and since learning the technique can park very well already LOL.Anyways Lubing wise I'll get Maxima Chain Wax,read quite good reviews about it,won't fling etc.I was thinking to get Maxima lube gotta to take out the chain, place into a container then spray like trigger happy.lol but thats just me.

 

Anyone setting off early,lunch cannot be at 3pm lor thats teabreak.
