Anyway there is another service called Motorpay (https://www.motorpay.com.sg). Thos who subscribe this, ERP charges will be charged to Credit Card.

 

speaking of ERP.. last Friday, i remember pass thru 4 gantries - 2 in the morning (AYE + Anson Rd), 1 around noon (Anson Rd) and 1 evening (Rochor Rd)... but only 50cents is deducted from my cashcard... dunno which is wrong, the cardcard or the IU...

 

If no letter comes, juz keep quiet hehehe.

TS, you definitely have to pay 2x$10 if u pass a gantry twice without cashcard. But if you pay thru AXS then it will $8 or $8.50. If its your first offence, then you can either email, call or post an appeal letter to them and confirm they will waive. I've been paying countless of ERP fines and countless of $70 ERP fines so I can definitely relate to your case. Oh yah, if you don't pay up the $10 before the due date, it will straightaway snowball to $70.

hmm... that motorpay thingie requires $1.50 subscription fee per mth & it is not applicable on ERP car parks...

guess it is only good for peeps that pass through the gantries on a regular basis...

hey, how long does it take for the letter to be processed ?

No letter until today.

I just checked at one.motoring website for ERP fine/summons. it says "No record of LTA fines/fees found."

Think i got away with it ?

Finally got the letter.

Its actually 1 x admin fee + 2 x ERP fees.

NOT 2 x admin fee because i passed thru 2 x ERP gantries.

 

Anyways, i appealed via email, apologise/ say i noob/ say i never notice card not fully inserted.

They were nice enough to waive the admin fee for me.

Also advised me that i should insert card before moving off next time as its not safe to do it on the move.

I pay the 2 x ERP fee = $1.25
