cool. so i assume 2 normal helmets and a raincoat can fit in there?

 

and for aftermarket parts go future scootering?

raincoat & 1 helmet shd be not a problem..

 

yea, so far thr's only a couple of shops doing scooter mods..

i would say underseat can only put 1 flip up can fit and 1 half helmet (cannot fit 2x 3/4 helmets)

 

anyway here is the first hand review of the ahm exhaust from a malaysian gts rider. maybe wait for the post one month review?

 

"The AHM exhaust besides looking good sounds really good too, louder & has a much more distinctive note to the stock one, which was much too quiet & subdued. Besides the performance gain & looks, the louder note has also served to warn cars when i'm riding alongside or behind them, so for me it's also a safety gain! The exhaust is lighter by as much as half than the stock original, which for now i'm keeping at Chuan's until i drive there to pick it up."

 

@nudgedoink, actually i think if you want more storage space and power, try the piaggio x9. just that its higher in maintenance. with the built in box backrest and insane amount of storage, your gf would love it more than a gts.

hm.. yep. i need a low maintenance ride as well. my gf main issue is just a place to put her handbag, and a comfy seat. gts does both of these perfectly, as well as being a reliable ride with good fc. =)

a place for a hangbag, you can get a side box. (custom one)

for a comfortable seat, daelim daystar has a superb seat. =D

you will regret leh. seat comfortable and can lean back somemore. you will miss your gf hugging you tightly while you ride. And sometimes the bodoh gf can fall asleep behind while im riding, almost accident.

if th girl know how t zi dong, hug you from above th shoulders, th feeling wld definitely be great..

tht's partly why im modding my seat t low rider, high pillion. :D

760 ringgit = 315 Sgd negotiable. mmmm tempted? if enough are interested maybe can ask future scootering to bring it in and do installation for us.

 

I also like leh.. the stock is nearly 8kg+++ by itself @_@ but AHM not road legal ah. By one look the pipe looks too fierce to be stock sia haha... Orh-gong $800 to uncle sammy leh =( must consider hard first and also something abt the back firing of the pipe..

i tried 110 only.. hahahah.

aiyo. impossible to find legal for singapore leh =( maybe i try import and then go lta and try to get it sound/emission tested lor. the stock one so terrible, cannot last long. soon i have to spend 500 replace another stock, i might as well go aftermarket. paint it with hi temp black paint to camo it a bit more lor. ROV also wont bother uncle scooter leh lol~

 

wow my top speed only 125 leh. is it i fat or wat? no box no pillion, belt also still fresh. whats ur secret?

new belt rollers clips less than 2 weeks old. plus a little bit of slope i think. No pillon. nothing in box nor boot either. hmmz. that's its leh.. but before my belt change i can't even reach 120 lor lol. think belt,roller cond very impt? But since i chng back stock, i think stock's belt,roller really good enoff

lol.... Finally this Sym thread has become lively n alive... Hopefully more Sym rider can come together and we can all go out in a big group of SYM.... Though I understand that driver sure hate us... all big big size 2B scooters hogging the road together... lol..
