Whoa! Just read that from Oct 2014 onwards, new bike sales need to meet Euro 3 emission standards! This will result in higher costs to ensure the bike meets this regulation! So on top of high COE prices, this extra 'engineering and production cost', will increase new bike prices even further! WTH!

My majesty felt sluggish.......issit me or the clutch is slipping again...those stock clutch springs is getting softer over time...looks like i got to order e stiffer springs to compensate e belt slippage n tighter clutch shoe engagement to e bell....

Yeah, like my scoot lor. Move off lose to GTS200 and Gilera 200. But once hit 5000rpm and above, the power comes on per normal.

Only acceleration from stationary and slow speed affected.

But our scoot is never meant to fly off like those two.

They are so light. Stop comparing apples with orange. :p

There is a reason when a bike's acceleration is too good...... there is a reason why SW sells the best even though its

acceleration is the slowest among all the scooters. ;)

Still got rm for improvement.....LOL......

the stock spring will tend to loose its strength due to wear n tear over the years...the torsion spring is suppost to prevent belt slip n e pillow springs to get e tight clutch engagement.....maybe tis will help........

Tested synman bike n i really like the feel.....

The bike started to moved around 2300k rpm....unlike mine goes around 3500k....im sure it will improved e fuel consumption....

Plus shipping is S$45. But wait a while 1st coz I dun know whether this roller can last or not. Unless you dun mind trying.

Acceleration slower.......sort of, it just feels different. Previously, the engine revs up before moving off but now it just kind

of engages. Who ask you to headache lah! Try the next round..... by then leo Vince put back already...lol

But I think you should consider changing the springs like Nor which I'm also planning to do.

Anyways, heard from a friend that Mah Motor is bidding for all the COEs thus pushing prices high. Bike COE one name can bid for many COEs. They are hoarding the COEs. Damn it.

Highly possible. As long the price of COE is high, our government would be please!

And normally those in the motor trading industry would know how the COE system works.

I remember many years ago when my friend wanted to sell her car and I followed her to see the procedure. They could manipulate figures for the car loan with the bank

in order to get around the government's policies. (I saw her initial paperwork)

Like 20% was needed for car downpayment but somehow she only needed to pay 10%.

Look at what they did with the budget, give money to the pioneer generation(which is great), but tax the tobacco and alcohol (which is "health hazard") to cover the "losses".

Policies are just to make people happy, they will always claim that people find loopholes in the system. Then they start catching some "scapegoat" and make them examples.

How, sound like conspiracy theory or not? Lol!

Or you can take my springs after I've change them.....lol Nor will probably also give you. Then you can have double spring.......wahahahaha!

His has 3 springs, mine have 5, so you have a lot of spares for the next 2 years! ;)

Yeap, Ive read about this in Majesty USA forum. They recommend the abv modification rather than all 18g. Haha

I'll be happy to use your old clutch springs! Thanks in advance!

By the way, when your buy things online using credit card, are your charged 2.3% extra by the banks?

Dont get ANZ cards, cos they will pass the MasterCard and Visa 2.3% admin charge down to us. I used DBS/HSBC cards previously, no such thing leh. Its transparent exchange rates.
