LCD shows 'INPUT NOT SUPPORTED'

Hi guys i bought a desktop pc @ courts a yr ago.. comes with Acer 22" P223w LCD graphic card Nvidia GF 8600gs on windows vista

 

Yesterday my com was all ok.. when i switch on this morning comes this floating irritating box 'input not supported' but the dekstop background is normal.. i was running on 1600 x 1200 60hz.. went to display settings---> advance settings->monitor and unchecked hide modes monitor cant display.. selected 1680x1050 and everthing was fine at these settings..

 

Now the problem is when i playing my Combat Arms & fifa online 2.. the max setting is on 1600x1200.. when i select that setting on the game settings the flying box comes again but the graphic is normal..

 

I have surf the net.. nothing helps.. safe mode.. reistall graphic card drivers, monitor driver, switch off on the montor, and even restore my cpu to default settings.. nothing work..

 

PLz help!!

Down the resolution of your game to cure that perhaps?

your monitor cannot support 1600 X 1200... since your monitor is a widescreen monitor

 

your monitor should only be able to support up to 1600 X 1050

 

to support 1200 pixels wide, you will need a 24" monitor probably, since 24" monitors usually display 1920 X 1200

 

*p.s. omg upgrade your graphic card!

is ur connection via DVI or VGA? troubleshoot ur graphic card 1st using another monitor

hmm.. dats funny cos all these while i been playing my games on 1600x1200 all fine till dat day.. even now still can play on 1600x1200 all graphics normal but got the irritating box.. yeah i tink the best upgrade my graphic card.. how much a gforce 9800 gtx cost?

not shiok to down resolution lah bro.. pixels not dat fine.. not use to it..

i tink is vga lah bro.. i got no spare monitor.. but the problem lies on the graphic card or the monitor in this case? Shd be graphic card ryte?
