Front fork seal failed on my 9,000km DT. Surprising. I would have thought it would be covered under goodwill since mileage is so low although bike is more than a year old, but guess not.

An idea popped up. Can I jumpstart DT using my car battery?

Sent from my C6833 using Tapatalk

you can use a car to jump start the battery. To access the battery, you will need to remove the seat, and the underseat compartment.

@solaris

My rectifier was over charging by up to 18 Volts.

I guess the best option is a volt meter which I have yet to install :p

Now I know how important it is.

Every bike "MUST" have one.

The problem with most bike is some do have the battery light indicator like on kymco downtown. It only works as in light up when the battery is weak or low or no charging.

It doesn't work for over charging.

qystan mention that charging should be ~14.5V.

Battery max full charge will be @13.2V if I remember correctly.

Warning : avoid service your bike at Unique Motorsports, went there to install voltmeter today.

Told me 30 minutes to wait for the part to come, ended up over 1hour...

After installation, my LED light switch (modded) doesn't work. They say it's because of the switch...

they fixed the problem on the spot. (fine...)

Went to carpark tonight, gantry refuse to open.

Insert the cashcard, no response. (wtf???!!)

EO change is the same as other bikes. depending on the type of oil you use. Semi-syn oil can last up to 3k. fully sys can last to 5k.

as for belt change, it lasts max only 15k.
