I new to scooters, and thinking of buying one, between dt350i and maxsym 400i, which would be best option.

 

More for transport from workplace to home. Need big storage to put bowling ball....

Just got the DT 200i today. Ride it and feel good. Stable bike.

Long time no see!

 

My trusted steed is still alive. Wow so fast coming to 6 years of owning since new. Did my coil last year.

 

Today my rear brakes giving metallic clicking noise decided to check and change it out since i got 3 rear spares of rear pads.

 

Very easy to change pads. No need to remove exhaust.

For those who don't know KYMCO. Not your typical scooter. Why Malossi chooses KYMCO DT350? Good Question.

Hi guys. Am intending to get either a downtown 200i or 300i.

 

I've research and that the major difference is just the engine capacity. Most compartment and build is exactly the same.

 

Keen to know whats thw difference in terms

- maintanence (200 cheaper? 300 belting last longer? Engine oil capacity for both?)

- fuel consumption

- is it cheaper to service at kymco malaysia?

 

Thanks. Hope to get to know the answer before deciding between 200i or 300i.

My is the 200I so far the FC is about 30km/L (cruise ato around 80 to 90km/h). Just did my 3rd servicing. Max speed I got is 125km/h. It seem to creep up slowly after 125km/h. But I didn't try. Cause scare TP...haha

Hi Guys,

 

Selling off my Kymco DT 300i with LTA-approved Giannelli IPERSCOOTER full exhaust system. The rest are all stock. Exhaust changed 'cos it's lighter than & I liked the sound.

- COE expiring on 16 Oct 2024 (about 7 years 3 months left). Road Tax expiring on 16 Oct 2017.

- Used for daily commute to work. Good FC. Mileage now is about 43K+km.

- Serviced regularly at 5000km at Motor Sport Pte Ltd (Kymco distributor).

- Accident-free but has minor scratches here & there.

- Fully paid. COD (Cash or Cashier's Order).

- Selling this bike 'cos bought a car already.

- Looking at $8000. Cannot get this kind of price @ Motor Shop. PM me if interested

and also if anyone here got put rack? Motorsport recommend me the SHAD rack, but not sure if can hold my KAPPA KGR52Litre box. Thanks alot!

Greetings all.

I just bought a 2nd hand DT 300i.

Can anyone advice on this problem I’m facing, every time I throttle and move, there’s this whistling/clinking sounds, (like 2 keys clinking each other).

Is it the belt or tyre bearings?

 

I put bike on main stand and throttle, the sound gone.

Same & I bought Yamaha nMax to get back on the road after 10 years
I hope to try a Kymco 200i soon, catches my eye because it is SO HUGE.

Gained weight durimg the pandemic, need a big size 2b maxi scoot… had SYM GTS wayyyy back… want to try the much more expensive Kymco this time round and see if it lives up to my expectations..

New Nmax looks cool too!
