Tsk tsk...

I don't understand why a successful fast food chain like McDonalds (in Singapore) would outsource its manpower and payroll handling to a third-party company.....like how so many companies here are doing.

Good luck to those McD riders. I know it's harsh outside those roads nowadays

:thumb: to them and ride safe!

outsourcing saves cost and allows Mac to concentrate on what they are doing.

lots of giants are doing the same thing - outsourcing. DHL, UPS etc. its a common trend nowadays

just curious, how's the pay of a delivery rider like?

mac = work weekday one docket = 80cent... Fri and sat night = $1.80. Weekend daytime = $1.20... Needless to say nobody wants to work on weekdays that's why your delivery takes bloody long if you order weekday office hours.

cos it's cheap. it is human nature we go for cheap stuff and staff.

it's inherited from our mothers lah. when marketing, they will bargain and ask for discount. 10 cents cheaper can or not. 5 cents less lah.....

so when you look for job, you get the same treatment.
