For me,

As long as have EO inside the engine is ok already.

FYI, i am using the ForkLift's EO(with 20W50,JASO and API Sx/Cx standard, but i forget about the spec....):p

is FREE:angel:

for EO, just make sure that higher than API SE(higher grade like API SF, API SG even SM, the Sx is up by letter), dont waste your $$$ on higher grade EO if u are not riding extremely(high rev, 10krpm above)

IE to sae a 5w 50 is better than a 10w 40 la for our blade.. i switched from 5w 50 to 10w 40 last time thinking that it is thicker thus better protection for our engine.. looks like im wrong.. nxt EO change will switch back to 5w50 liao... i still love maxima.. :p

For improved intake , upsize to Yoshimura Carb x4 + port block head to go along with the upgraded Yoshimura Titanium FS (4-1) Fx suggested.

After which get the big bore kit to bring ur engine up to 444cc.

This time u can install Molybdenum coated high compression piston.

Followed by Afam sprocket set with X-ring chain

Now that u've got the hardware done , upgrade ur CDI to the HRC racing CDI to rev up to 16k rpm.

Forgot to mention mod ur camshaft for earlier opening of ur valve and later closing of valve for high RPM power

*note : Revving up to 16k rpm might cause ur engine components like piston and con rod etc to break since ur on 444

cc.

*note : Given the high compression nature of the machine now it is recommended that u only use high grade petrol. (V-power only) to be safe.

Ur bike so stock still dare say 2more project nia.

Forgot to add Tyga racing race fairing to improve the Power to Weight ratio of ur machine.. by making the bike lighter , it's acceleration , top speed , cornering , braking all will improve!! not to mention less wear and tear also!

This link will show u the parts required!!

Should look something like these after upgrading

Somethings to share with everyone~

History of our 400RR lol..

Check these out

Our 400RR started off as this

hd8.jpg

CBR400 F (NC-17)

- Half fairing

- 3 Spoke Wheels

- Single rectangular headlight

- 18 inch rear wheel and 17 inch front wheel

- Box section swingarm

- Air cooled with oil cooler

- Indicators attached to headlight assembly

- Air pressure adjustable forks

- Single piston rear brake

The next generation of the 400RR continues to the NC-23 version

Honda-CBR-400R-2.jpg

CBR400 R (NC-23) - Aero / Hurricane

- Full fairing, with covered frame

- 3 spoke wheels

- single headlight

- 18 inch rear wheel, 17 inch front wheel

- Box section swingarm

- Liquid cooled and has an oil cooler

- Front indicators attached on the side fairings

- Air pressure adjustable front shocks

- Dual piston Rear Brake

Afterwhich the next evolution was probably the better ones.

CBR400RRJ-K.jpg

CBR400 RR (NC-23) - Tri-arm / Hurricane

- Full fairing, with exposed frame

- 3 spoke wheels

- twin headlights

- 18 inch rear wheel, 17 inch front wheel

- New tri-arm swingarm

- Liquid cooled

- Front indicators enclosed in fairing

- Air pressure adjustable front shocks

- Single piston rear brake

*This series is the one FX is riding. This series is 59Horsepower on stock setting. (J and K model)

*The 18 Inch rear wheel also caused FX quite a bit of problem trying to find tyres as the only bikes that use 18inch rims from wat i rmb is... nc23 hurricane and.. nc30 which is VFR400.

Which looked something like this for those that dunno.

bikepics-1242551-full.jpg

Lol no la the stock doesnt look so high tech, thats the tyga race fairing version. Actually its more like these

vfr400.jpg

Xifu there got 1 life sample if u all haven noticed.

The head is similiar to our fireblade while the tail is similiar to the current RVF400.

VFR400R NC30 (1990)

Front tyre 120/70

Rear tyre 150/60 (18" rim)

Wheelbase 1345mm

Dry weight 170kg

Power 56bhp @ 12,750rpm

Torque 26 lb-ft @ 9,700rpm

Finally came the Nc29!!

DSC00151.jpg

CBR400 RR (NC-29) - Gullarm / Fireblade

- Full fairing, with exposed frame

- 6 spoke wheels

- twin headlights

- 17 inch rear wheel, 17 inch front wheel

- New gull arm swingarm

- Liquid cooled

- Front indicators stick out

- Preload adjustable forks

- Single piston rear brake

This is the Fireblade version where the L , N , R model exisit.

L and N model are 59Horsepower stock like the Nc23 Tri-Arm hurricane

R model unfortunately got restricted to 53Horsepower stock due to new japanese law and regulations that came into effect on 1993.

The restriction are as follows.

Prior to 1993 the maximum horsepower were the following:

250cc class: 45hp

400cc class: 59 hp

750cc class: 77 hp

over 750cc: not allowed

The new limits for the models built in 1993 and after, were:

250cc class: 40hp

400cc class: 53 hp

750cc class: 77 hp

over 750cc: allowed, but restricted to 100 hp.

*Note : This means that PGM1 to 3 nv kanna cut i think , but sadly PGM4 didnt escape the wraith of new laws like my R model lol.

The earliest R model was manufactured in 1993 (happened to be my blade) which was stock limited to 53hp. It is still unclear how they restrict the horsepower , maybe by CDI or somehow by carburators (no idea realy) or by that small little header given to R models, but the main different in spec that i notice between the R models and the L & N model were smaller Header and higher compression ratio.

L & N model's engine features a 11.3 compression ratio

R model engine features a 11.8 compression ratio

The diameter of the header avaliable in L & N model is also slightly larger than R model, however the biggest diameter header is still hurricane header which is why many poor hurricanes has been slained for their headers lol..

Apart from this 2 differences , R model also feature a revised fork and suspenion + revised electrical wirings as compared to the rest of the models. (I dunno abt this, read from specifications somewhere)

Anyway this HorsePower cut is not the same as the Speed restriction cut.

Many ppl always thought that when we say remove power cut is abt the 180km/h power cut, its actually different things.

Japnanese stock bikes all come with 180km/h speed limiter which can be removed by installing a device called RED REV which my friend's rvf happen to have or cheaper method cut a few cables behind ur speedo and ur cdi. (FX got post pictures on it before).

Thats all for now.. fill u all more when i find interesting stuff again

upsize to Yoshimura Carb x4 + port block head to go along with the upgraded Yoshimura Titanium FS, big bore kit to bring ur engine up to 444cc.. i not regular so rich like u leh.. although i hv interests in bikes.. lol.. IMHO i think it is not worth it to do so much la..

Afam sprocket set with X-ring chain--> i know it is lighter very nice to drag.. but $300++ for a set of sprocket and chain?? i top up $100++ can last me 2 chain changes... :)

upgrade ur CDI to the HRC racing CDI to rev up to 16k rpm.-->i normally change gear at 4k rpm the most 5krpm.. think i hv no use of that also..

*note : Revving up to 16k rpm might cause ur engine components like piston and con rod etc to break since ur on 444cc.. -->self-slap leh..ask me change to bore up to 444cc and change HRC CDI so can rev up to 16k rpm.. lol...

ultimately these are wad i wan to do to my bike only la.. let me slowly self-explore.. :)

Thats all for now.. fill u all more when i find interesting stuff again

maybe after my 3 yrs plan and after my studies and got a stable 2nd career, i will start doing all these la..lol.. there are more important things in life still waiting for me.. :) by then when i achieved my goals im still only 26 yrs old.. still young to ride a blade.. hehehe.. by then my coe still got 7 more yrs left leh..

upgrade ur CDI to the HRC racing CDI to rev up to 16k rpm.-->i normally change gear at 4k rpm the most 5krpm.. think i hv no use of that also..

cannot like that say ma. if like that u also seldom hit 240km/h ride a bike that can hit so high for wat.. just ride a spark135 can liao wat :p dun think u got any use for a blade also lor stick ot ur phantom.

Haha anyway i still kinda interested in the afam sprocket + chain set.. even though like u said u can almost change 2 times chain liao.If wanna experience performance in sports bike bo bian must sacrifice more money and high wear and tear le ma..

Actually think back also if wanna do so hardcore tuning to a 400cc i think better off investing in a RVF. Afterall rvf got higher potential compared to blade. In my opnion that is .. hmm

Its got a more revised track based design from the start for performance.
