"Tank Pad" range from 15-30bucks from LAB/Regina. to me, it serves the purpose of prevent my belt buckle from scratching my fuel tank.

oic.. mayb cos i change gear at ard 4k rpm so got sound?

i tried changing at 5- 6k also no sound. Does that mean below 4k rpm not suitable for changing gear?

so u mean u change gear all no sound?

i only know that changing to gear 1 from neutral wif a thud sound is common. but at gear 2 n 3 seems a bit weird to me...

anyone here got problems revving past 12k rpm in 5th or 6th gear

my scenario is when in 6th gear you throttle it wont past 12k rpm or if you crack

open from lower gear it just went to 13k rpm slowly after 12k rpm

mine guess is gear sizes mis-match the main culprit

any second opinons

6th Gear 12k RPM is normal, if ur bike is restricted.

as for lower gears.. rpm rising slowly, u could try to get ur carbs sync again by ur mech. it should do the trick.

I used to have problems hitting 12k RPM, after sync.. I redline anytime from 1st to 5th.

it's definitely not the RPM which u upshift ur gears at; it's how u upshift ur gears. could either be, u upshift before u fully clutch in, or unsmooth upshifting. I can shift at 3K rpm, smooth as butter. :thumb:

The temp gauge doesn't lies, the heat u feel is probably the hot air rising from underneath. which occurs becos engine was heating up beforehand.. and when u stop, the air rises..and warms ur butt.
